In what way does your game fit the theme?
We chose to address the theme in an indirect way. 'Outage' is designed to cater towards a two player experience, and this is the main reason why the levels are as challenging as they are. You are going to be more capable at completing the game if you work with another person to beat the puzzles, and that is how we chose to approach the theme when designing the game's mechanics.
We respect, however, that most people will be playing the game solo, and so that is, of course, also a possibility :)
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
All code, art and music assets were made by the development team specifically for the jam (Thomas McCarthy, Patrick McCarthy & Joseph Mahon). Sound effects are from freesound.org and zapsplat.com
NOTE FOR PLAYERS: We’ve implemented a save system into the game, so don’t worry about losing your progress if you want to go away and come back to it later :D

Very fun game, I love the feel, the atmosphere, & the whole aesthetics of the game, great puzzle design too, reminds me of a Prof. Layton's puzzle. Great job team!
Very well polished game ! I don't usually like puzzle games but i enjoyed this one :D Great work guys !
Ah! I just read your "In what way does your game fit the theme?" blurb, and realized it was supposed to be 2-player. It actually worked quite well 1-player, and I'm sure it would also work well 2-player.
Great puzzle design. It was sort of an experimental puzzle-solving process, and it wasn't headache-inducing. The gameplay followed basic rules and led to enjoyable levels.
I think level 20 may have had a dysfunctional teleporter.
Music and sfx added to the atmosphere nicely.
Graphics were simple and nice.
Well done coming up with a pleasant puzzle game!
