In what way does your game fit the theme?
You have to ram the rock into the tower to make it collapse, along the way collect other rocks to make yourself stronger.

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Code yes, assets no

The game doesn't really fit the theme, but otherwise it was fun, nice concept. The sound when collecting stones is a bit nerdy.
Better?
Developer (1 edit)

Thanks! Yes this is better, and yes the sounds are weird.

A nice concept, but I don't think it fits the Jam theme.

Developer

thanks for the feedback!

  • Some music would be nice

  • There’s a sound effect that plays quite a lot but I’m not sure what’s causing it. I feel like it gets quite repetitive though

  • I didn’t realise you could jump so I found level 1 incredibly difficult

  • When I jump it’s like there’s an invisible ceiling that pushes me down

  • I feel like this would be better if the smaller rocks were removed and the level design was improved to make it more strategic

  • In some levels (specifically level 3) it’s not very clear where the building is

  • There are a lot of weird invisible walls

Developer

The sound stuff needs a lot of improvement and the jumping part still isn't great. As for the rocks and the level design stuff, I'll definitely take a look into it. Thanks for all this feedback!

The these doesn't really fit, but nice concept nonetheless.

thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately another idea closer to the theme was too hard to implement..

This was a lot more fun than I thought, but you have to move about the level just right to destroy the tower. Sadly I don't think this fits the Jam Theme all to well (if not for the disclaimer up above).

Thanks for the feedback about the level and the theme! I had another idea which matched the theme more, but it was too hard to implement.

Good fun to play, and just rolling the rock around was really entertaining! The sounds got a little irritating (could probably do with some variation in the pitch), and the menu button didn't seem to work with me! Other than that, it was a solid entry, good job :D

Developer

Thanks! Will definitely make the sounds better, and i think I forgot to enable the menu button oops

The ground check was a bit iffy for me, if I held space while running into a wall I would never fall down

Developer

Oh yeah thats definitely something ill take a look at. Thanks for the comment!

Cool game, maybe have a check for if the rock is on the ground because when i pressed space while in the air it stil moved the camera, the air control maybe a little to generous also, still a very cool game but as others have stated it is quite difficult to collect those small rocks. Solid game overall with potential to improve

I'll definitely take a look at the things you and others mentioned. Thanks!

Its too hard to collect the small rocks. Still fun to play.!

Developer(+1)

Thanks, and yes some parts are impossible or really hard. Sorry about that!

I really like the simplicity and fun of the game. Give me a game where I get to break stuff and I am sold. Great job!

Developer

thanks a lot! Also great profile pic!

There is something so satisfying about breaking something with rocks...Pretty fun mechanic!

Developer

Thanks! And yes, thats why i wanted to make this game in the first place :)
