In what way does your game fit the theme?
Dancing was never chaotic enough, so we decided to invite rascals and monsters from other dimensions to spice up the havoc for your night parties ;]

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
All assets were made from scratch. As for code, the game was made using Unity, and while the main code was all written by ourselves, some plugins were used too, such as DOTween (was used for the ease of making animations).

WHOA, this is impressive. You've got quite the team there! Really good job by all of you & congrats!

Developer

Haha thanks! Yes, it surprises us too, how coordinated we were! Had tons of fun making this with the team! Cheers!

Amazing Art style, Fun, And Chaotic.

Had Fun XD!

I liked the game, and the proposed concept was interesting, but I think the design wasn't quite perfect.

I tried to jump in rhythm with the bar below, but then I noticed that just jumping all over the place gave me more points.

But I played for a long time, it was fun.

Good game.

This game is amazing in every aspect ! It is very creative way to combine dancing game with somewhat rouge-like style combat this make player to divide the focus to combating and dancing in addition of whats happening on the stage made this game very chaotic.

I love absolutely anything about this!

The music fits very well, the graphics look fantastic, the controls make it hard but are fair and there's even an attack system!

Now I can finally fulfill my fantasy of beating up people while playing dance dance revolution!

A fantastic and very well polished piece of software that I will definitely play again.

And again.

Thank you for your review! Get ready for more soon… [ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°]

Fun game, with an amazing art style.. Think the game could've been explained a little bit better such as the rhythm tracker at the bottom and about how attacking enemies actually works! But overall great work!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! We will try to keep that in mind and try to make a better tutorial screen if we further continue the development of this game!

Nice! I think you should, the visual style alone is just beautiful!

Developer

thanks for the compliments <3

Fun game with great art style, it takes a bit to know what to do since I got a bit confused with the tutorial since it said that i had to bash enemies but i just took damage from them until i noticed that you have to attack them when they are going in a different direction which also made me realise that i could just spam movements and get better results than trying to follow the rythim, but aside that it was really fun and it did get pretty chaotic.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing and taking time to give a feedback viciao100! We will consider those you mentioned in future events and hopefully in the further development of this game.

Developer

staying the rhythm gives the player health so when it becomes more chaotic like in the last level staying with the rhythm makes it easier but we try to make that feature in no way mandatory for the player but the player will get better results in the later levels if they stay with the beat

Great art and music. Very funny and addictive. Congratulations!!

Submitted(+3)

Loved the chaos! And the music is just wow!

The graphics were amazing for a jam game!

I hope u work on it as a full fledged game! I see a lot of potential!

5 stars across the board..

This game is incredible, it nails the chaos, music, and just overall it was such a joy to play. I am currently stuck on last level (or I think anyway) but I am for sure going back to try and beat it because of how good this is. I honestly think this project could turn into a full blown game.

This game was incredible good job to all the people who worked on it!

Developer (2 edits) (+1)

Thanks for that wonderful feedback! I hope this turns into a full-time game too! I had fun working with the people who made it and we've done this before! The teamwork was lovely! Thanks for playing :)

Great game loved the graphics and music, though I couldn't really figure out how the game played into the theme that much other than a bunch of enemies appearing at times.

It was chaotic dancing!! lol. Thank you for playing our game.

THANKS FOR THE COMPLIMENTS! Looks like you had fun in the game :]

Developer(+4)

my guy you said the same thing to every game and copy pasted it that’s not good please learn from your actions and try to be better

Submitted(+3)

Impressive entry! Looks like a lot of work. It was a little confusing/chaotic at times and I would have loved a move fixed camera lol but all good. I love all the little details in the background too!

Developer(+1)

we have a lot of references in our game here’s a challenge try to find em all and list em here! :D

Submitted(+2)

I saw a few "ads" for your other games ahahah

Loved the art , the sound, the concept and many more features. In particular I'm very fond of the changing floor, boosts and the quirky music! I have some criticism and ideas for the game:

-Make the levels menu a bit more clear as I struggled to navigate it for a bit when I started .

- Maybe increase the durability of the powerups. Also maybe pausing the game as you do the combo would be nice, but I guess it adds to the element of chaos.

- Adding a health bar would be nice as it's hard to tell since there's no indicator on how much you start with

- When a tile becomes red and things fall from the sky, maybe increase the amount of objects that fall as there is little to no punishment of standing on a red tile, as the chance of something hitting you is quite low from what I could see

Nevertheless this is a great submission! Good job on the game guys guys.

Developer(+1)

Hello DemnEye! Thanks for playing our game! To make it clear, there is no health bar, only the dance meter. The “How To Play” section at the beginning of the game explains that your objective is to keep it as high as possible.

(+1)

Oh that's my bad. I guess it could make for a suggestion then. A health system might make things more interesting/chaotic and increase the difficulty

Developer(+1)

1) yep sorry about that if it wasn’t clear what buttons to click lol

2) well the power up was made because the player can easily use em and take no damage and kill enemies if we increase the durability it’ll just make it too overpowered plus you can get the power up if you plan ahead a bit so it adds a bit of strategy in the game

3)there isn’t any health bar there is only dance bar and if that bar ends you die the bar is clear and I think the how to play screen makes it clear

4) when working on this game we stuck with a saying “we have to make the game chaotic not frustrating” doing that would be too frustrating so we opted it with this option to make it enjoyable + chaotic as we can have more projectiles on the screen hence limiting the players vision which is chaotic

Well I hope that you had fun playing our game! :D thanks for all the meaningful criticism

Submitted(+2)

Amazing art and audio! Great submission!

Developer(+1)

Thanks Reddycat means a lot!Hope you had tons of fun playing this game

I’m just curious what level did you think was the best ? And how manny references did you see and a bonus question what effect in the game did you think it was the best

We will be flattered to hear your response :D

Submitted(+4)

I like the art style of the game. but I couldn't figure out where the enemy was moving to so I always just head butted them and took damage in the proces. so maybe adding something so that you can anticipate where the enemy is going would have been nice.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing, and thanks for the suggestion, Mr Paconieen!

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

thanks for playing our game hope you had a fun time :] and yes if we ever decide to further work on the game we will add that feature

I still Remember someone in our team said this but our team just went no because we wanted to make it chaotic XD

I think it went a lil bit too chaotic but hope you had fun!

Also how manny references did you notice we jam packed the game with references

Also just asking what was your favourite level please let us know our team would be flattered if we got a reply from you again :D
