In what way does your game fit the theme?
The theme of let there be chaos plays into the story of the game and some of the gameplay. I had originally a large scope and had to pivot ideas and didnt really get the themes vibe as much as I wanted.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all the code myself with some help from a brackeys tutorial when needed such as for the audio management.
All of the art was done by me. Though I used some assets from others for the sounds and the font. Which I have credited in the description.

great, and I love the control, its easy to learn the game! Hows mine?
quiet pixel art.
Good job with the intro! The graphics are also great!
Thanks so much, I'm still new to pixel art so that is really nice for you to say :D
cool game, the pixel art is really nice.
Hey! Thanks for the comment and trying the game out.
While quite short, I think the setting had a lot of a potential to explore interesting gameplay. It had a cool theme with the graphics and music which went well together.
From a design perspective, one thing that could be improved is how enemies react when attacked - when I heard the 'clanking' noise I didn't think I was doing any damage, so maybe changing that sound and / or adding an animation or other indicator could help make this clearer.
Nice job on your first public game jam submission! :)
Thanks for the comment, I really appreciate you playing and giving some feedback as well.
I will be working on this little project for a bit longer now and will be taking your suggestions on board. Some more defined interaction during combat(on hit like you said) will improve the overall game feel for sure.
Once again thank you, I'll be sure to check out and play your submission!
