How does you game fit the theme?
Reality can be very subjective, the fear and imagination of a child can render the mundane horrific, monsters real. Confidence can erase them.
On his way back from fetching a bottle of wine in the cellar, the child is scared by the sudden darkness and quickly imagines his worst fears. The Walkman he chances upon is his only way to escape his nightmares and return to the entrance of the cellar.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
We wrote all the code from scratch and used some fx assets, which are all mixed and edited (credited on the game's page) as well as our own.

Hey, I love this game. This game has a lot of graphics and you have some true talent. But I do have some feedback to improve yourself:
1.) The player movement needs some more responsiveness with forces and friction
2.) Not all ppl are used to space for the jump so you could add "w" and up arrow.

That's an amazing game, I like the fact that when you're hit by the monster you don't die or restart the level, you are just scared, because it is not real the game transmits the sensation of fear of the dark perfectly and the mechanics of the game are perfect, You deserve a big 5/5.

I don't like so much the mecanic but the rest of the game is very pleasant. Nice visuals, animations, and the game is hard but you don't really die :)

It's eerie, atmospheric and at the same time really wholesome. The mechanic is simple yet effective. Overall just a lovely, well thought out entry. The only nitpick I have would be the platforming mechanics, that's a little tricky...

I loved the athmosphere and the idea with the music player!
It's always a huge plus for me, when the controls are communicated in game. So good job on that!
As a small critique, I think the level could have been a bit shorter as in some stretches nothing was really happening, except for me walking forward.

Incorporating the health onto the character was also very intelligent and looked fantastic. I love horror games and was impressed how much this actually scared me. The atmosphere was great.
The pacing of mechanics was also well done! It was very easy to learn how the game worked due to how the tutorial was placed. As well as the mechanics themselves were very intuitive. The coloring made it super clear that without the walkman playing, you could fall through certain platforms.
