How does you game fit the theme?
This is a platformer game in which you are trapped in a dungeon, But there is a twist, some things you see in the game are NOT REAL, some are. So you have to test everything to see if it is real or not by risking your OWN LIFE!!!
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
There was no code used in this project. All was Gdevelop's Visual Scripting. The asset were not made from scratch, they were downloaded.

I think this is a strong start that has a few fixes you could make -- some easy, some less so.
For starters, there needs to be some kind of way for the player to figure out if something is a hallucination or not. Trial-and-error is a tricky thing to get right, and me traveling through 5 rooms just to get killed by something I couldn't have foreseen is frustrating. Hallucinations are fine, but give the player some kind of clue that the hazard is about to kill them.
The undo function is neat, but I think it should be mapped to a button. Switching between both hands on the keyboard to one hand on the mouse, especially when I'll die if I don't click it fast enough, is a bit frustrating.
You have the basic building blocks of a solid game idea here, and I would keep iterating on it and improving it. You have something here with the "undo" mechanic, but play around with it and see if you can find ways to make it more compelling. Just make sure that player isn't punished too much for getting killed by something they had no chance of avoiding.
Nice job!
Thanks, I was about to add something like a lens that could tell if the thing was real or not but the time was less. And the other suggestions you stated are good, But i was to bad in game developing to add them like backdoors instead of undo button, So i guess you could just call it a rage game. ;)
You're not "bad" at game development! Making a game is hard and making a game that works in such a short amount of time is something very few people can do. You have a good start here and nothing that can't be fixed. You should be proud of yourself. This is not a bad game at all.
thanks
Cool
thanks!
I got a few things about this.
1. I don´t know how to get past the very first room.
2. I think the arrow-key-controls are confusing. I´d recommend using A/D to move around.
3. Besides that the Audio and Graphics are good even though they weren´t made by you.
Thanks for replying. To interact with object or open doors press e. It is written in the help section and the intro end. The arrow keys were my only option as the character controller behavior only allowed it. I am not an actual developer. It is just a hobby and this is my first game, so i couldn't add my graphics or audio.
That got dark really quickly! The sound design is really really good, it boosts the whole experience.
Some feedback: To me, the informal text in the game doesn’t seem to fit the otherwise informal atmosphere so well, I think it could work better if;
Replaying to get past the deathdraps by trail and error felt a bit tedious to me.
Thanks for creating this :D
Thanks for the suggestions. Will keep these things in mind if the game got updated
nice game would you mind rating my game
Thanks. I have already rated your game.
Great game, it fits the theme, like somethings are not real while some are not👍.
Thanks
Game was a bit lite on the interaction (would have been good to display the controls somewhere too) but the music and general atmosphere was unsettling so that was nicely done!
Thanks. the game controls are given in the help section in the main menu and also the end of the intro.
love the pixel graphics and the theme is on point .Good job!
thanks!!!
Interesting game!
thanks
I really like the game, it was simple and very funny! (i have a dark sense of humor xD )
as I have seen others mention about the slow character movement but that's a nit pick overall well done and congratulations :)
Thanks
Loved the simplicity of the game and graphics which makes it smooth ! The twist is reallt good and makes it difficult ! I loved the game !
I have rated your game ! Also can you rate my game ^_^

thanks, rated your game as well :)
Innovating concept! Though I wished we were able to control movements using WASD as well.
yeah, the character control behavior in gdevelop allowed arrow keys only
Did you just rickroll me...... XD. Overall a great game i like it :D
thanks
It's a really cool concept and I especially like that the backtrack button having limited uses as a mechanic since it gives players some judgement calls as well as some breathing room as they traverse.
If you polish up the art by making the background feel more like a place based on reality (Streets, Buildings, Forests, Etc.) or have them be very creepy or weird (Yume Nikki, LSD, Silent Hill) the players could feel far more immersed when they explore. Also, when you "kill" the player, try to make their deaths feel more tangible by using some audio or visuals, instead of saying how they died.
In terms of mechanics, I think there are a few bugs when the "backtrack counter" doesn't refill, but otherwise with a bit of polish, love, and extra effort you can make potentially make a very unique and interesting interactive-story, horror-platformer.
thanks
good game
thanks
great game, for me the movement speed was also a bit slow, but when got over that I had fun :D
thanks
Undos were not resetting for me unfortunately.
Must be a bug. Can u explain more clearly how did it happen.
Sure! I watched the whole intro cutscene the first time I played, then I used all my undos (counter said zero) before I died. I started over, and skipped the intro cutscene, but still had zero undos left.
The character is a bit slow, but the game is fun overall.
thanks, will fix character next time
It was fun game to play , nice job :)
thanks
Cool game :D, maybe adding more music on every different kind of room death would be even more intense
Thanks for replying. will add more music next time
