Great use of the theme. Really love the art stlye. Gona try somthing similar next time. The game play, sound the sfx are also great. Played it multiple times because its soo good. Gona save it to my collection. Gona try it on some emulator or retro pie.

It was a bit hard to understand how to reach the first scene (run + jump) but the game was pretty cool and that's great to see games like this made in GBStudio for a jam!

Oh, I'm so used to running and jumping in platformers, that I absolutely didn't think about that this could happen.
I will keep it in mind for future games, to make controls more clear! :)

This was great! I love that it runs on the actual hardware/emulator also. This definitely brought back so many Gameboy memories. It was very fitting of the style, for sure.

I would agree with some of the other comments, some of the jumps were unforgiving, for sure. But this was awesome!

Yeah, there are three hard jumps in the game. If I will update the game after the Game Jam, I will include an easy mode with slightly altered jump physics!

Interesting game, I liked the old snes graphics and sounds. My movement system kept glitching and would constantly moved either left or right.

Other than that, the game was well put together.

Hmm, strange. I just tested it, works for me on chrome.
I usually use firefox though.

I started making  music on the Game Boy in 2008. So I'm quite familiar with the hardware already. It's also a nostalig childhood memory thing . :)
