There have been a number of interesting Papers Please riffs in this jam and I think this one has a nice conceit. I like the simplicity of the censoring mechanic; you immediately see how this would be fun to play in a full-length game with more and more complexity, plus the documents are such a great way to communicate story.

Unfortunately there were some issues that made it tough, most notably the scroll wheel--it was really difficult to scroll down incrementally and really easy to scroll the letter all the way off the page. Immediately losing if you make a mistake also seems way too punitive, especially since it doesn't tell you why; I was unclear if I'd missed marking something, marked something I shouldn't, or just not colored in the words thoroughly enough.

But it really is a very strong start and I'd definitely give a more polished version another look.

very nice concept.

I would like it more if you could have any consequences to what you choose to redact or not. As currently feels like whatever you do doesn't really affect it.

The viewport is a bit too small making it hard to read sometimes.

And although the idea is pretty fun it gets really repetitive after a couple of times and feels a bit boring.

Good job though, really nice entry

This is such a unique and interesting concept! I really love the aesthetic and the drawing to redact words mechanic is really satisfying and makes me feel like I'm properly combing through classified documents. Such an amazing submission! Really hope you continue to work on this by maybe adding some sound effects and other features!

great game, gameplay and graphics were great, really needs some audio. Other than that, Great job!

Very cool game, I found the font hard to read, but other wise it is still good. Good job. :)

Nice idea, and it looks really good, but I think the text takes too much effort to read. Also I think the actual censoring could have been more fun if the black ink didn't shift vertically when drawing with it.

I loved the look of the game. It got boring quick though.

Nice concept, but it could be harder. This game is great, but maybe this is a bit too unrealistic on some ways. But I do like the game.

It has Papers Please vibes and the narrative way of the game is really interesting.
Also the interpretation of the theme is original!
