Cool concept!
I think it looks great and that helps set the atmosphere for this game.
I had some issues controlling the light - for me the camera movement was a bit too quick and I ended up going left-right-left-right to somehow get to the middle, but besides that it was a fun experience, well done :)
Could you please descrube the issue with light controls?
It's not an issue, it was just moving too fast for what I expected.
Clicking ahead and slightly to the left, for instance, would move the camera, quite fast, far more left than what the click was.
So basically going slightly left or right made the camera go to the same direction but much more "heavily". I think it made the movement a bit more harder to control, that's all.

Interesting take on the theme. The atmosphere felt great and this was probably one of the most innovative games I've played in this jam so far!
Some issues I had was that I couldn't make to level 3 because a bug made me get stuck/return to the main menu everytime I returned a spirit to a torch and that I felt like the soul attraction level didn't match with the lighting I emitted (spirits can lose you even when they are being illuminated by you, especially at lower lighting levels).
