Upon dying, you are able to respawn and progress to the next level with greater ease.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Wrote all the code by ourselves, but some assets are from kenney and they are free of cost

Fun game with nice visuals and audio. Good job!
Dude everything about this game was good, it got the theme right as an end for the player leads to new options. I loved the graphics and the audio (very relaxing). The gameplay was fun and easy to understand. So far the only critique I have is a little bug. When I die in level two my "dead platform" is spawned in the wrong place and the more I die the worse it becomes. Besides that the game was fun and it smashed all the requirements for this jam 5/5.
I like the concept! it really encourages you to be strategic about where you die :) I like the environments too; simple, yet affective! Even though the walls that get placed when you die have some jank/glitches to them, this was still a pretty neat game!

The contrast between the gameplay and music threw me off, but in the end it made it somewhat a relaxing experience, well done.
There's a few point I'd like to mention:
Sometimes I would respawn inside the collider on my tombstone, so I'd need to alt+F4 and laucnh the game again which became frustrating.
Also adding some sound effects for the footstep would make the experience 10x better as It would pace the tone of the game between when you're running and crouching !
