can't, sorry. i still have other personal projects that I needa work on

Really cool game lol.

I love the addition of Snake to calm the player down after a while. I really wish there were more microgames though lol.

Super juicy game with its sound effects, and the whole concept itself is really fun. I kinda wish the music was more intense and louder. Still, really fun game. Well done!

Extreme bumper cars :D

Fantastic game all around. It feels great bumping into other cars, the art looks AMAZING, and great music choice! One thing I would add though is a main menu since you're kinda just thrown into the chaos out of nowhere lol. But I like how there isn't really any objective other than to ram into as many cars as possible, i love it :)

Despite the theme fitting pretty loosely, i like how this is pretty much just Getting Over It but Windows XP. It's really hard though lol. Good job!

I love how well this game visualizes a deteriorating mental state with the hallucinations of the black figures and the random sounds that play too. I love the interpretation of the theme too!

Solid submission, but there's quite a bit of feedback I have about this:

  • The art can use a lot more consistency. At the moment the game has a lot of pixel art assets mixed with hand-drawn/painted sprites and backgrounds, which doesn't look too good. Plus, the pixel art has filtering turned on, so if youre using Unity you can turn if off in the Inspector if you click on the sprite in the Project window.
  • The gameplay can be easily cheesed if you just spam the mouse button. I would probably add a cooldown for hitting to encourage the player to dodge the enemies more. The jump is also pretty floaty.

I know it's really hard to make a game in only seven days. So honestly great job for even pulling it off!

Honestly a really interesting idea and concept with you trying to roleplay multiple people. Good job

I really like the music choice. Every songs fits what you're doing pretty well. The gameplay is nice too, but I wish there was some more randomness in it. For example, the storm cloud seem to hit the same area (your house) again and again, so the player's inclined to place a bunch of blocks directly above their house. But overall I really enjoyed this, well done :)

Got a chuckle out of the art and animation :) but atm the sounds don't give much impact when jumping, landing, getting attacked, etc. Still enjoyed this nonetheless!

I like the idea of a 2D platformer mixed with a visual novel :) But even though i get that this is a visual novel, I feel like the dialouge with the citizens went on for way too long. I feel like it would've helped if the text didn't slowly write itself on the textbox and instead just popped in to let the player read at a faster pace. But I enjoyed the art and general aesthetic. Good job!

Probably one of the best looking games I've ever played this jam. I love the oil-pastel artwork, and the character designs look amazing. Even though mystery games like these aren't for me (I ended up getting stuck on what I was supposed to do; i likely got the family tree very wrong lol), this was an incredible submission. Great job!

I did have an xbox controller laying around, so I was able to play it :)

super polished game! the gun feels great to shoot, and the particle systems add a lot to the game feel. However, i do feel like the game didn't take advantage of the theme that much. Sure, there's the "storm" part with you shooting the enemies, but I don't think the "calm" was that emphasized. But I still had a lot of fun with  this, and the art looks great!

I wanna get to rating more games, so send your game link here and I'll play, rate, and give my feedback on it!

Here's my game if you'd like to rate it too: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-12/rate/2973739

However, there's a chance that it'll take a while for me to get to your game 'cause of school, homework, and other things. I'll try to get to as many games as I can

woahh this was trippy @_@

wishlisted :)

I love the concept of this pretty much being Stick Fight: The Game mixed with Getting Over It. The main mechanic feels really good to use, too. However, I would fix the hitbox for the player so your arms can't kill you from the spikes. There have been several times i died from the arms barely touching the spikes lol. But still, this was really fun to play!

Super cool-looking game, despite it being mostly assets. Great job on the atmosphere!

I like the risk/reward system in this game. The more plants you place, the more money you'll get. But at the same time, it'll be harder to fight off the plants because of the amount of them. Very well executed! one bit of feedback I have is to make the sound effect more impactful to really sell the "storm" part of the game. Right now, shooting the gun or hitting the enemies doesn't really feel that powerful due to how quiet the sounds are. However, I liked the pixel art. Good job!

This is how you use AI in games. not for art, not for game ideas, but to actually make the game feel more alive in games like these. Anyway, it was really fun coming up with the most insane crap to send just to see what the responses are. The penguinz0 reference gave me a chuckle too :)

Super cool mechanics that all work really well with each other. Well done!

I really like the unsettling backstory to this, and the voice acting sells the whole vibe really well! But I did find a break from immersion when you go to the fridge to get a drink of water. You kinda just stand there staring at the fridge while you hear sound effects of the narrator drinking it, with no animation or anything. Besides that, this was a really well made submission with fantastic voice acting and an aesthetic that fits the game very well!

Nice bullet hell/rougelike, i like how the weapon feels to shoot. but if I'll be honest I found the graphics to be somewhat sloppy. I would maybe see if removing all the smaller trees/mushrooms scattered around the map will do anything. It also seems like there's supposed to be grass because trees are there in the first place? it's weird lol. The music and sound effects in general also seem to be very quiet. But still, this was pretty fun to play!

super charming game and story :) gives off strong Animation vs. Animator vibes, and i really like the boss fight too, seemingly taking inspiration from JSAB. Art looks fantastic too, but i would probably fix the hand/arm lol. It's super skinny >_>

daamn, the pixel art looks fantastic, i like the colors! Gameplay is super simple and addicting too :)

The game did a really good job on actually getting me stressed lol. but i did find a few bugs, like me not being able to interact with the computer for some reason and the fact the mouse isn't locked by default. But besides that this was a great submission. Well done!

Fantastic platformer :D fits the theme very loosely, but it was really fun! I also love the art. that walking animation on the bird is the goofiest thing i've ever seen and i love it

Easy 5 stars on innovation. it's super cool being able to build your own kitchen, then actually use that kitchen in-game. The game itself is super hard though lol, probably even harder than Overcooked with several friends. i would probably list what ingredients you need on the ingredient card in front of the customer, but that's just me

i also love how a dog can be one of the customers, only asking for a dog treat lol

super cool take on the theme with the Big Bang being "the storm", and addicting gameplay! I also like the aesthetic on the whole general aesthetic of the game. But i found the whole threads thing being confusing, since I'm not sure if I'm able to control them myself of if they go in completely random directions

I liked how the music got more and more intense as the game went on. It took a while for me to fully wrap my head around, but the gameplay was solid too! However, as the previous person said the jump is way too long when holding the space bar, to the point where the player just says in mid-air for a second. This was still a pretty interesting take on the theme though!

I love how much the game relies on audio, making the world around you feel so alive, even though it seems like you're just in a tent with static objects. One piece of feedback I have is listing the cause of death. I died most of the time without really knowing what I died from. Perfect example is the blue particles, which i'm assuming is poison? Aside from that this was a really cool submission!

even though this fits the theme pretty loosely, the gameplay was super fun, and the story is surprsingly funny and wholesome lol. you'd expect a game about just fighting the owls, but no. You're a raccoon sneaking into an owl's base to replace the war posters. I love it.

If i were to give some feedback, I think there should be some more audio cues when you get caught, cause at the moment the screen kinda just fades out, leaving the player confused on what happened.

But still. I really enjoyed this game. Great job!

Probably one of the best games i've played in this jam. Nearly everything in this is polished to perfection, and I refuse to believe this was made in a single week. I LOVE the pixel art and animations on the game (especially the mole), and the amount of juice in this game is immaculate. The gameplay is very easy to understand and get the hang of, too.

Honestly i would pay a solid $10 for this if it was released on Steam (pls make a full release)

P.S. i also noticed that when you're holding the pickaxe, the sprite bugs out and you suddenly have three arms ;)

Interesting concept, however I will say that this could use a lot of work. For instance, I feel like a lot of the mechanics can have visual and audio cues rather than just timers and progress bars. Like when the storm is about to start, there could maybe be some subtle thunder noises or maybe even a rain particle system that indicates that it's about to start. I do also think the graphics could use a lot of work, and it's a bummer that there's no sound.  But seeing that you submitted this only like 10 minutes before the deadline, i can understand that you didn't have the time do all that stuff lol
