How does your game fit the theme?
In CrawlyCronicles the only way to survive is to breed and develop different mutations, which helps you to fight enemies. To do so, your previous life must find its end, either natural or cruel.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I do write all the code and drew all sprites myself

How many hours did it take to code this game?
It was created during Brackeys Game Jam'23, I had 7 days to do everything from scratch. I spent the first day wondering about game ideas. The second day i mostly spent on doing stuff irl but i think i coded for like 5hrs. From day 3 to day 7 I coded for 8-12 hrs a day which gives us approximately 55 hours summary
but since then i also code every day for 8-12 hrs and ill be doing so till the game is complete. You can always find latest version on github releasea page btw
Mechanics are cool and gameplay is fun. It definitely needs some music and sfx but otherwise it is great
Very addictive, dynamic and cute game!! I have little experience in games, but even I was able to defeat more and more insects, which is good! Live graphics are much prettier than the screenshots.

Honestly did not expect to like this game so much! Definitely needs audio to feel more satisfying but it's a genuinely great gameplay loop. The visuals are great as well. Def very addicting to play!
Superb game in my opinion. Very fun gameplay, cool mechanics, no glitches and very instructive tutorial. The only thing missing is audio and pause menu.
