Loved the artwork! The music was also great! I think maybe a tutorial would be nice because its a little confusing at first. I also think that the UI does not really fit with the rest of the games art but for a game jam that's fine. Overall good game!

The art is so good!! This might be one of the games I actually keep to play in the future. I look forward to the update soon!

Love the artwork and the styles of the game

Refreshing important information:

2 Important Notes:

PLEASE READ THEM!!!!

1. There is a bug : collect sunlight button doesn't reshow between days.

The solution is to collect water first (or go underground and back)  and button should pop up again.

Note that during rain or storm no sunshine will spawn

2.  Fall season might me too hard due to small amount of sunshine avaible.

I suggest lowering difficulty setting for this season.

The artwork is fantastic! I found myself trying to progress just to see what the next sprite would look like. Gameplay-wise I think it gets a little repetitive, it would be nice if each plant offered something new, like more/deeper roots, or easier sun collection. The failure states are a bit confusing as well - I get that running out of sunlight or water would kill me, but filling my water and sun meters to full feels like it shouldn't be a failure state considering it costs me time and effort to get that much of either thing. I like the root growing mechanics, and I think it would be really cool if you could expand that part of the game a bit more. It would be cool if your root from yesterday stayed in place, and a new one comes out each day, forcing you to search in new areas for water. The sun collection mechanic was fun too, although thematically I'm not sure why collecting sun would be a rhythm game.

Good game!

Thank you very much for valuable feedback!

Love the artwork and the theme. There are a couple spelling errors, and the gameplay is a little tricky, but overall I like the concept and it is very asthetically pleasing. It would be cool to get achievements up and running. The UI is functional and minimal. The Sunlight catching feature was a little weird being on the right when the keys are on the left, threw me for a loop. Overall very nice game!

The artwork is insane.

Beautiful artwork. Great job!

OMG the artwork is great! So much effort is put in this project! Love it!

The graphics are great and the concept really suits the theme, nice job!

The art looks absolutely amazing and the art is also great. And I think you packed your whole unity project into the .zip file, not just the exported game, which is the reason the file is that big.

dude... you didnt have to make the art look this good just for a jam game lol.

Really cool looking art!

I'm amazed by the art of this game, just look at these backgrounds, AMAZING.

The only thing I'd say is that the game can be insanely hard sometimes for no reason, I didn't succeed in growing my plant as much even after trying a few games :(

I really enjoyed the art and the music ( the letters on the menu screen especially). I accidently burned up several time until I turned the difficulty down to 0, where I could just spam the next day button (too easy, but at least I got to see more of the game). I wished I could see my plant grow from day to day to see that I am making progress. Overall fun and cool concept. Good job!

Developer

I am very glad that you wanted to experience the full game.

That's the reason why we added difficulty setting. It was a spontaneous idea and, luckily, it paid off.

Difficulty level: Emotional damage

Fun to play but RNG need a rework because sometimes i've been losing due to 6 storms in a row

Developer

I feel you. If you experience bad RNG after some time, but want to play on, feel free to lower difficulty settings (in pause menu) till next sunrise.

We were aware of brutal RNG so we added adjustable difficulty settings, but remember:

Nature can be brutal too...

I recomend you to check how modern tetris rng works. You could add some sort of weather patterns instead of randomly chosing one at the time. Also storm and rain should increase or at least maintain water levels in my opinion. And also maybe decrease water source count on heat waves?

The idea was good, but it take time to figure out how to collect sun.

And the Graphics awesome

Cool art and sound, enjoyed the nature theme!

Love the artwork! The game itself is very creative, was confused at first how to play but figured it out relatively quickly. Aside from the sunshine button occasionally disappearing it seems pretty bug-free too!
