Actually really fun platformer! Has a true retro feel to it. Good music and art, and nice color scheme!
Awesome game! Took me a minute to realize I needed to pick up those items to throw at the kangaroo-bots but once I figured that out, it started feeling a lot like an old-school SNES platforming game! Great work!
Nice game, the controls are good. the jumping seemed to make a sound after the jump instead of when you press jump.
Nice game!
Thank you!! And yes, that was intended so the player has more audio feedback for landing on platforms rather than just jumping. Megaman and Castlevania do similar effects since landing is important in both those games.
I didn't know that, I learn everyday :)
Very cool! Interesting character design! The controls feel good, and the art design looks great. The city skyline does a strange bouncy movement sometimes. Keep it up guys! Check out my game 'Puma Cat' if ya got time.
I thought the gameplay was pretty fun
the design of the level and enemies blended well together creating a hierarchy between dodging and attack that I found to be enjoyable.
the scripted events such as falling down into the second part of the level could use some tuning but it doesn't affect gameplay.
I only have one real negative and it has to do with the game maker installation client. Maybe just upload a copy of the executable for the game itself instead of the install client. I almost didn't play this because it required admin permission and it made me think that the file you uploaded was suspicious.
anyway, I liked the game and would love to see it fleshed out in the future.
Nice music and art!
