I love car games like this, so I am so glad to see one in this submission. I like the work you did with it too.
The crashing mechanics and the bits flying off is such a nice touch. The game mode is very fun and the theming makes it very chaotic and neat, especially with those designs. The cars actually feel very nice to control too! You did an excellent job on making them feel weighted but stable! In my opinion with the top down perspective, you could also make players able to control it via the mouse pointer.
I'm sure you already know about the camera obstruction, and the camera distance (deffo would like to see the cars get smashed up close!). If you had more time, I can definitely see a race track being a more stable and fitting, and easier on the AI.
This one is neat, and I can see you put a lot of work in the time you had!
Very neat game! The concept is very fitting for the apocalypse theme, and brought back bad Customer Service Employee memories! It's incredibly good and smart, you made the different managements very fun.
I won't nitpick at the art direction, it works fine with how little time we had. In fact, making everything readable made it it work incredibly well.
Sometimes I did feel like the customers asking for multiple of the same item in a line did mess me up, and I swear at times I would give them the exact amount only for the first item to go to +1 instead. And the fridge auto-closes a bit too fast, it made getting +13 of something hard.
Though, that's not too heavily something I would change, it works fine!
With how much tensity and stress doing each day made me feel, espcially in the endless mode, I could definitely see this work in a horror theme as well. I think this concept is very well made.
Just finished this game's main plot (assuming there is only one).
You did fantastic on making the world look and feel very scary, the silouette's of the cardboard cut-outs alongside the lighting of the game was a very smart idea! Everything looked and felt creepy. The game also controlled smoothly for a tank control game alongside the camera angles being very good to help that fact.
However, I didn't feel properly challenged in the game as whenever the Snipper would kill me, I would be brought back to a very recent checkpoint. Because of that I didn't feel AS scared when it involved the Snipper. Some mechanics of the chase I feel should be tweaked a bit too. I feel like it's very hard to not be killed by the Snipper when opening the door in the hall of scissors.
Overall, I would love to see what you make in the future! This game was very aesthetically and enviromentally creepy!
Hello! My name is Smokey and I have worked intensively with RPG MAKER MV in the past and is very familiar with spriting in it and spriting characters in general!

You can check out my other art too at my twitter!
We can negotiate prices but for now I am thinking ~20 per sheet? Again, they are negotiable.
Very polished and fun game with a cool little story to it. One thing I would like to note is that I found myself farming the worm guys rather than fighting the bugs, mainly because it was very easy to get hurt in the game with your limited range. Above all, I had a lot of fun with it and liked the evolution level system!
Hi, my name is Smokeyocity. I do furry art on sites like Twitter and Tumblr under the same name. It's always been, like, a dream of mine to make games so I'm excited but also extremely nervous about this.
Earlier, I had an idea for what I wanted to make but scratched that for a different idea I had for a game that's been on my mind for a long time.
Sargasso, the story of a girl who ended up in the Super-Sargasso sea, losing all contact with civilization, and has been living with a proper monster who has lived there for near 100 years. They don't know what's in the deep forest of the Sargasso where all things forgotten end up, but they want to find out before it finds them.
The game will be focused on story and visuals more than gameplay. I'll be using AGS because I'm more knowledgeable with that software and I don't know coding enough yet.
In this devlog, I will be
- Updating the development of the game.
- Venting ideas through this topic
- Probably talk about how nervous I am or something
Thank you for reading and I hope you have a good day.
