Super fun! Here are somethings I noticed. As many have said the music doesn't fit, I love how you juiced the game up and it would help to make the bullets bigger and travel a bit slower <- this would add a lot to the game (help the player see/doge the bullets). I also though it was really cool how the spawner enemy wasn't a big threat until it's spawning list had harder enemies added. I think the difficulty too easy? For me at least. The thing that bothers me most about this game though is the dashing bug. It's too easy to dash out of the map and if you do this you auto die. I think it would be a lot better and less frustrating to just stop this from happening all together. It also may be too far of a jump. I also loved how the game "crashed" and rebooted that was pretty cool. I also loved the variety in enemies which were all super cool. It's part of what kept me playing. In all it's a really great game and I'd like to see it progress :D

" I tried to fix it, quite some times, but it is (sadly) an engine bug which I couldn't find a good workaround to. So I ended up just killing the player when it happens, instead of making them stuck...

Very fun!! Haha. Stopped playing because I couldn't defeat the final wave.
This idea is really creative! I really like the intro with the text and the game idea was really simple. Great execution!
This is a really unique game! The intro scene is REALLY cool. The camera and movement is really responsive and fluid. The camera shake and particles was really cool. There was a really bad game breaking bug where you can dash through walls, which made my first playthrough impssible to play, but then I restarted and continued with the game.
There was some kind of cheat detection, but i was able to bypass it.
I would have really needed to prevent that from happening in the tutorial... (^^;) But sadly it is partly an engine bug, for which I couldn't find a workaround... Other than completely rewriting some stuff... (I was hoping this glitch wouldn't happen in the tutorial...)

This was awesome! The visuals and aesthetic were really haunting and on point (though it felt like the brightness could have been pushed up as it was a bit hard to see). The core tank gameplay was fun and the controls and movement, including the dodge were just really satisfying, I'd totally play a full game of this! The 'corruption twist' was great, really well executed and fun, one of the best uses of the theme I've seen! Great job!

As the other said, the music doesn't fit at all. I feel with a more upbeat tune it could've been more fun to play. The game is also pretty easy (beat it on the first try), there were just way too many health pickups, maybe they should've delete on new wave? Because I had like 20 laying in the middle by the last wave. Other than that, I really liked the tutorial and the gameplay, also the sound effects and the idea of an command line starting up the game was really good. Overall I very much enjoyed this game :)
I'm sorry the game turned out too easy for you, but that's most likely because you're simply too good at games. :D
Jokes aside, some playtesters had trouble with the difficulty, and I didn't want it to be a suffering for more casual gamers. But making the health pickups disappear is a great idea.
I'll definitely consider adding some extra levels, which will be made for real epic gamers! :P

I really enjoyed this game! Let me start off by saying, you managed to pull off something that not many other games in this jam have done - a good difficulty curve. The game starts off easy, but gets progressively harder as you go along, and it's done very well! I never found the game too hard or too easy.
Here are some things I disliked about the game:
- The music got quite annoying and repetitive after playing through, and it didn't really suit the gameplay.
- When you shoot an enemy all of the enemies of that same type glow up, instead of the one enemy you shot, which felt weird, it makes me feel like I'm dealing damage to all the enemies when I'm not.
- The dash ability is heavily underused, I only found myself using it in the tutorial. Maybe if there were some faster bullets, I would have used it more often.
- The music didn't really fit the intense gameplay. It works for the tutorial, but at those final stages, it gets really fast paced and intense, so it doesn't work too well.
Those are really the only negative things I have to say about this game, I really had a great time with it! Now, here are the positives:
- The terminal boot up at the start of the game is done so well, and it feels awesome!
- After the tutorial, the game starts "Crashing", and it the effects used for it are so great! You managed to pull it off very well.
- When you die in the game, I always thought that the game had crashed, although only for a split second, further adding to the theme of the game.
- When there are the hundreds of bullets flying at you, it feels so satisfying to manage to dodge them and kill all the other tanks.
- The sound effects used fitted the art style nicely.
Overall, this is a well thought out, and fun game! Great submission, well done! :D

Also the second point... That all of the enemies glow up thing... That is a really bad visual bug that I had no idea how to fix. Trust me, I tried. :P

Awesome game, I really the game's visuals looks very nice, music is a bit slow compare to the action but it's still nice, fits the theme very well with all the corrupted file thing and just a BIT more juice then this game would be perfect :D
Yeah... I agree, it seems like I really didn't add the right type of music...
But what's more important is that I'm really glad you liked the game!
