Another thing is the spitter turrets are rather underpowered in the current build.
The 2nd turret is much better.
Additionally spike balls work really well along side turrets!
And yes when you get to 250/250 meat you beat the game but it just goes into infinity mode.
Generally you want to get some defenses then build a grinder and 1-2 seekers to get you a lot more resources to defend better.
But I understand how it would be confusing and difficult to get to this point.

Note that the menu being off screen is intended, you can move the camera with right click.
Even so, the camera should focus then menu or something when it's created anyway.

Hey im really happy you played and enjoyed it! Regretfully, I was pressed ontime and I didn't get to explain as much to the player as or balance like I wanted. I made the game 100% better an hour after the game jam which is hurts but thats how it goes I guess ahaha.
Know the crafting menu is a part of the world! In the game's current state if it happens to be off screen you can move the camera by right clicking and dragging to view it better!
Was fun and cool! But maybe I don't get it.
It seems like you can only maximize your chances of scoring high. Getting 0 seems very hard and completely up to chance. If more were presented to you it'd be easier to plan. But I suppose that's the nature of Solitaire. Sick concept had a blast competing against my friend.

Beat the game with no fails on my 7th try.
I love the visuals and aesthetic. To me, the biggest problem I had was with the controls. The wall jump threw me off and I was only able to beat the pit level once I realized how big the normal jump was. They also felt kinda slidey and I wouldda beat the final level on my 2nd try if I didn't slide off the edge xd.
That aside it was very cool and interesting to play. I thought how the player was forced to run back and find themselves in a shorter amount of time than it took to beat the level was clever. Overall super fun to play.

Super fun! Here are somethings I noticed. As many have said the music doesn't fit, I love how you juiced the game up and it would help to make the bullets bigger and travel a bit slower <- this would add a lot to the game (help the player see/doge the bullets). I also though it was really cool how the spawner enemy wasn't a big threat until it's spawning list had harder enemies added. I think the difficulty too easy? For me at least. The thing that bothers me most about this game though is the dashing bug. It's too easy to dash out of the map and if you do this you auto die. I think it would be a lot better and less frustrating to just stop this from happening all together. It also may be too far of a jump. I also loved how the game "crashed" and rebooted that was pretty cool. I also loved the variety in enemies which were all super cool. It's part of what kept me playing. In all it's a really great game and I'd like to see it progress :D
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it!! The difficulty was probably a result of me playing it so much and getting good at it myself heh. Some play testers pointed it out that is was too hard so it was actually harder before if you can believe that XD. I'll change some things for future versions. Thanks for playing!!
Super cool concept! I think it's really interesting that how good you are at the game depends on how well you know your keyboard (I'm pretty bad). The upgrade system/way you incorporated the theme was pretty cool as well. Although the player's ability to get upgrades is kinda by chance and on my 3rd run I I spent a few minuets in a cleared room spamming my keyboard trying to get a bunch of upgrades. Overall super cool game and a pretty good entry in general!
