I like it ! It good that show when big wave is coming and sfx are nice for the ear. I think it would be better if there will be music but overall good job!
I beat the game.
The game is fun. The gun fights feel right (probably the good speed of the protagonists and bullets especially) and the gameplay loop works, walking between the shops and trying to be a bit conservative with using your ammo. During the second part you can take your sweet time to collect ammo for sure, but the meat of the game is in the first part anyway, and in this one the difficulty seems about right to me.
Fun game, thanks for sharing.
This is a great start, which I can see being expanded upon into a fun top-down monster shooter. I would love to see more player progression as the game goes on. And some music would go a long way towards making the game more engaging and atmospheric. Good work!
The idea is nice. The gameplay and the graphics are decent. But the sound effects are toooo loud
An ambient sound would have been nice. The level was simplistic but still looked nice. I feel either having the bullets move a little slower or the player a little faster would have lent itself better to bullet hell type gameplay as then I could bob and weave through the bullets. Instead I had to spam kill the enemies ASAP before they killed me. The limited ammo with shops that are on timers made for a neat little gameplay loop.
Pretty cool submission.
Very well rounded game! I liked the use of the theme and the art. I thought that the difficulty was a good balance as well. For feedback I would say that the character should move a little faster to make it more satisfying to move around
