"We chose to launch rockes using guns not because it is easy but because it is hard !" - Some president or something

Okay lame joke aside it's pretty good, pixel art is top notch and the music is also real good !

Gameplay wise, the unusual layout feels a bit confusing at first but once you get it it feels real solid with some nice physics on display, i like how since you're propelled by bullets you can spin to clear the asteroids out of the way :p and i like how much control you really get on the trajectory once you get the controls down, i also like the neat details that you went out of your way to have all the stages for the rocket and thus having the proper thrusters available or not after separation.

Only issues i have are not really with the game itself but more technical ones, i tried the web build so these may be absent from the download one :

Sometimes the game seems to freeze for no reason, mainly happened to me when i chose restart from the pause menu, Load times in general felt a bit long, and there was some framerate drop at the start on the launchpad.

Other than that had a fun time playing this ! Good job to you guys :)

Art style and music are really great. The interpretation of bullet hell and projectile use was really creative! I really like the concept and wish it was a little easier to start playing. I think this is a gem of an idea especially for an arcade style game.

Difficulty level felt pretty high because of counterintuitive controls (ex right keys turn you left and having five directional points to keep track of) which made it pretty hard to ease into. It felt like the meteor waves came a bit quickly to start off and the tutorial was a bit of an info dump (ex a lot of text all at once to remember all the buttons). It's a bit hard to reach for left ctrl as well.

Bugs:

Frame rate slows to almost nothing when using spacebar at the same time as a side thruster.

Sometimes the game freezes and can't move forward when changing game modes (ex restart or start).

Tutorial text sometimes comes outside the screen.

Loved the music and the visuals, the controls, as the others said ,were confusing. Might've been easier to have little "A S K L SPACE" indicators on the ship where the "thrusters" are. Also I felt like there should've been a way to get more ammo, or some reward for shooting the asteroids..

Controlls are a bit much if you play for the first time, but the floatyness is probably intended. I love your Pixel Art - and the Music fits well. And the Transition from Earth to Space is Smooth AF

Bit down the middle for me, could have used better controls and theme incorporation is a bit loose

Unique Idea! To me, there's no comparable game.

Interesting concept, although the keyboard controls didn't feel too intuitive at first
