Burt for the win!!!! I love FTL and this was such a fun game to play. I was very delighted by the minigames for the fights, they were a little hard but honestly quite a fun take on space dog fighting. I would love to see more stuff like this!
Pixel art is gorgeous, the theming is great, but the gameplay leaves a lot to be desired. The microgames for firing your lasers feels a bit touchy, and combat takes forever. Final battle of the game also feels really overtuned -- it felt like it punctured my shields and did half my health in a single blow! All in all, it's very enjoyable to look at, but with some glaring problems that make it less so to play.
This was awesome! Had a lot of fun getting to the end. I really liked the fight sequences! I feel like theres a lot that could be added with this concept. And the art and music are perfect :]
I really enjoy the mechanical ideas behind the minigames for each system and weapon type, solving these in real time is REALLY cool thought for ship to ship combat!
This is a dope concept you absolutely should do something with it in future - very fun!
Pretty fun! I was able to get to the end of the track, but man every fight is so difficult. I feel like they dodge more than 50% of my shots, and then if it does hit, its all shields. I also had a lot of bad luck with the events, my rolls were terrible lol even with the stat boosts from the character I picked.
Only feedback I would have is the minigames in combat could use a little bit of tuning to feel a little bit more in control/responsive, but not bad for a quick game jam. I was surprised by how much content you managed to pack into this, great job.
