I love the narration and the puzzle aspect of the game, wish the controls were better tho
I too, made a game called Lieception https://crunco.itch.io/lieception check it out please :)
I love it
Thank you!
I wish I could play your game, but I'm on a Mac. The premise seems interesting, though. If you have a youtube video, show me!
Sorry no video wasn't that prepared, fist game jam Thank You
That's fine. Happy rating!
You too and good luck hope you game does good it deserves it!
Thank you!
Great dialogue haha! Also I feel like an idiot but I didn't realise till like halfway in that I could click on the ground to move! But yeah, solid game- made me chuckle hard!
Thanks! Sorry for the weird moving mechanics, it's actually pretty hard to make an FPS Controller from scratch.
oh man, yeah that would've been rough :O you pulled it off nicely though!

"what you looking at...." "What you look.." What you looking at the painting". Was fun, nice job.
That's not sarcastic, right?
Yeah, except for the bugs I really enjoyed the game.
Thank you!
I think I've gone through about 15 games so far (trying to rate as many as I can!), and this is the first one that made me laugh out loud. I like that you included achievements, too! The movement system is unusual, but not too bad once you get the hang of it.
That was fun! Rated, and congratulations on finishing your game for the jam!
Thank you! I really appreciate the support! Your game was good too!
Really nicely done. It was awesome seeing the progress and the final game! Congrats!
The narrator was excellent. It felt really fun, and not a tense lie kind of way but more of a incompetent helper. hahahaha
I would love to see this character appear in more games of yours! :D
My only suggestion would be making WASD movement, like other people said; but if that is what you could make, it was a great victory; because it didn't remove the game's charm in my opinion! ;)
Thanks! Your game looks good, especially for not using any engines! Making an FPS controller from scratch was something I should have prepared for. I didn't. I got the idea for click to move from a GMTK video on Designing for disability, where one puzzle game could be set up to move that way. In the video, Mark said it was like an old point and click adventure/ puzzle game. That's where the idea came from!
Nice work! I couldn't find the second key. Although I really enjoyed the simplistic art style. The voice overs were quite good too.
If you even care: Behind the big painting by the bed.
I don't remember what the voice over said when he said the password. I also think the voice wasn't completely clear, although that might have just been me.
Oh, okay. I tried to be as clear as I could with that accent. (Not my natural accent). The password the narrator said was: coolcat21. There is also a secret password hidden in the room. I hope this did not affect your enjoyment of the game or your rating.
The rating I gave was still good, believe me. I really did like the visuals and audio, many points from me :) Don't worry
Thank You! Your game was really fun too, and had a nice difficulty curve to it, with the barriers. The timer made it more fun as well!
Thanks! :D
nice
Thank you!
:)
Moving. With. Mouse.
Is that good or bad... ) :
I couldn't figure out how to make a FPS Controller by hand, so I made it click to move. I hope it didn't make you lower the score.
It did! That's a really, really bad idea, and you should never do that ever again :)
Wait, really? Oh, sorry. Now I feel bad. I took inspiration from the GameMakers Toolkit episode where Mark shows the line game, that also could be set to move like that. He said it was in the style of old point and click games. I thought this applied. If you feel nice after that explanation, maybe you could change your score. You don't have to, I'm just saying. ) : There's a lot that goes into an FPS controller.
I hope you could still play the game and enjoyed it, and rated fairly. ) ' :
That's hilarious! :D I enjoyed this game :)
Thanks!
The playing feel was a bit too clumsy. I would have really liked some guidance to how to move around the room, because I got stuck in the shelves and it was pretty annoying. Also, the papers should have something written in them so as to know where to look at, cuz besides there being 2 printers I was lucky to hit the paper. But it was something interesting, I loved the voice acting so that's great :D
hey mironco! gud game!!
Thanks!
Good game! 8/10
