I couldn't figure out the boss and the text box opening every death got kind of annoying, but the sounds were good.
Boss broke for no reason as soon as I put it on itch for some reason thank you so much though
Rated - Good platformer! I liked it, hope you learned a lot from this jam. Take peoples suggestions and tweak it. Your next jam game will get better too! I would suggest to add some screen shots , or animated gifs, or a trailer to encourge people to play your game more/get more ratings. Good job~ Please check out my game when you can.
The character movement could be more polished and I got stuck at the boss with a laser. I had only 5 fireballs but it took him just a tiny amount of HP. Anyway, it's nice and fits the theme. Good job!
Sorry boss was working fine to where he would spawn enemies that would restore your shots but it mysteriously broke when I posted it
I liked the graphics and the gameplay. At the beginning when you find the torch it seemed liked you had to take a leap of faith to the next platform but I like the effect. after I think two doors I'm not sure if I missed something but got stuck on a platform with a monster that was pointing a laser and there didn't seem any way to beat that part, couldn't jump above or pass below. It was still good overall.
The boss with the laser broke when I posted but also if you fire it shows you ahead forgot to put that in controls
No way! such hi karma, also hi karma in the game (with the thank you note to the organizers) and only two ratings, Lets do something about that ;)
The idea with the lamp is great! Also really good implementation of the theme in doing so! Did you use a mask for that? Anyway, fun little idea, love to see the progress if you choose to continue it!
Thank you so much I'm so glad to meet so many great developers like you!
Will definitely work on it some more first I'm going to learn a bit more on another project then I plan on working on it more!
