I had problems with the E key, but the game's theme is very interesting. Congratulations

Great work for a 1 week jam! The only thing I'm missing is how it's related to "The game is a liar"...is there something hidden or happening in the end?

That gave me some ancient retro loadrunner feeling.

Check this out: http://loderunnerwebgame.com/

It was a little frustrating at the chest though

Really fun platformer with obstacles that were constantly tricking me even after I knew what they did :) . Good work!

Cool game, cool graphics, smooth animation, awesome music. The only thing that I don’t understand is how the game is related to the theme

Pretty fun game. The controls are a little bit clunky but overall a good game!

Great game!  I liked the character design and animations, like when he dies.  The visual style is also very unique and your level design ideas are awesome!  Good job!

Please check out my platformer entry if you have time.

Developer

Thanks so much for the tip! In fact, with animations in this game there were most problems, and some remained to this day. Thanks so much for the feedback. I also really liked your game!

Definitely had some Aha moments playing this. It felt really innovative and was fun to play. Some things like picking up the bat could be communicated better, but other than that great job!

Developer (1 edit)

Yes, I agree that some of the mechanics of the game are not very obvious, you need to learn how to do more detailed tutorial. Thanks for the tip and for playing our game!

All around fun to play! Certain levels were very difficult, almost to the point of being outside of a reasonable difficulty curve. But other than that, it was awesome. Good graphics, good sounds, clever tutorial. Good stuff.

Developer

We decided that some levels should be difficult to extend the time of the game, and slightly bent the stick. But in general, we tried to distribute complexity between different doors. Thanks for the feedback. And have a nice day!
