was there a team working on this. if so how big?

Developer

It was just the two of us. Sam n Dan.

Sam did the programming, and most of the models
Dan chipped in on the models, did all the audio and most of the play tuning

hey, checked out your game, rated it and am hoping you will come rate mine.

thought it was quite cool, only got to wave 5, its pretty hard defending both points at the same time, i guess thats the chalenge. but im not sure how it fits the theme.

art was beautiful, love your low-polly aesthetic. on of the best looking games on this list tbh amazed that you completed it in a week. though it would be nice to have a bit more in game feedback, such as recoil, and perhaps audio for things other than shooting. like when new items apear. or a buzzing sound for the flying creatures.

audacity's a free program that i used to do most of the sound efects for my game. the wind background noise was generated and edited from nothing using that. have a play around and get to know it a bit.

its that sort of visual and audio feedback is what i feel will take this to the next level.

cool game

Developer

Thank you so much for the feedback! We appreciate its slightly lacking in audio and have that as one of our targets to improve on for next time, and we'll be sure to look into audacity. And the way the theme comes into play is that the virus makes it so that the game will lie to you about one of the values shown to you, and the twist is that you don't know which to trust, which adds an extra level of uncertainty to the game as you play it. Thank you!

Great job working in 3d!  I think maybe some floating clouds above would make the sky space feel less empty perhaps, however still great jam game!  Your models are simple and cool!  Awesome job.  Please check out my game~ good day!

Thank you! And yeah I really like that clouds idea, its one I hadn't considered before but we will be sure to do that next time
