Cute graphics and fun idea for the survival - the level is tough though.
cool game with cool graphics, but the gameplay needs to be improved
Good ideas but implementation could be better, especially regarding visual language, controls and difficulty. I don't know about you devs but I could not manage to survive with this much enemies pouring out of portals from the get go.
The game looks interesting and original, however, only after 2 attempts I read the description and was able to hire units, and after 5 attempts I did not understand how to farm resources, I really need a tutorial)
The horse on the game over screen which is funny. The graphics are amusing and the music is cool. However, I didn't understand the game and a tutorial would have been helpful. Overall, the game has a funny horse on the game over screen, amusing graphics and cool music, but the lack of understanding of the gameplay, and the missing tutorial makes the game less enjoyable. 👍
Thank you for your comments everyone! I see many people commenting on the game balance, and wanted to say we hear you. We were cutting it really close with the jam submission, so we couldn't spend enough time on balancing unfortunately. But thank you for pointing it out! I encourage further players to leave your comment/critique!
The game is hard, but that may just be because I suck at RTS'. That doesn't necessarily mean it's bad, it's just hard to get ahold of. But like RTS' I've played in the past, I don't find too much of an incentive to want to try and grab ahold of it's complex gameplay that requires not only split-decision strategic gameplay, but rinse and repeat insane speed building action akin to the esports players of Starcraft and the like. I suppose that's where the pitfalls of RTS' lie these days. Complex gameplay with no one that isn't already indoctrinated into the frey wanting to learn them.
I like the artstyle though, very cute!
A bit more guidance would be helpful as well as balancing. Using an auto clicker I still found it hard to survive for more than a minute.
The game has potential but it needs some work on the balancing, the mechanics are a bit complexe and despite clicking has much as i can i can't manage to not die in the first 3 minutes.
Finding the ressources was a bit hard because they aren't very noticeable and there is no interaction while hovering or clicking on it.
The concept is quite interesting but right now it is a bit too hard to play for me.
