We directly addressed overfishing in oceans through our game. We wanted to show the negative effects of overfishing in a story that features a young restaurant owner named Chip. She wants to compete with the neighboring chain restaurant and is pressured by rent payments from her landlord. However, she does not realize that her methods of running the restaurant are contributing to overfishing. In the end, Chip learns that her current ways are damaging the ocean’s ecosystem and will change her ways.
