How does your concept engage in the jam's themes?
This game is aligned with the theme of Climate Jam 2024: “Change the Story.” The theme encourages game developers to tell lesser known stories about the impact climate change has on the planet. Players are unlikely to have encountered the story of the muskox previously, making it an excellent candidate for inclusion based on the theme.
Use of Theme / Inspiration
Mission: Muskox an educational game designed to help learners of all ages better understand the ways in which climate change affects the muskox, an animal species living in the Arctic. As a developer who has spent a decade working in education and focuses on educational game development, this jam's themes are highly aligned with the types of projects I like to create.

This is a great game to educate individuals, especially youth, about how climate change affects animals' dietary habits. Your scope is reasonable and overall, this is an excellent idea! I just am curious about how the informational text will be portrayed to players in game. Good work!
Thank you so much for reviewing the document and providing your feedback!
THIS IS AMAZING! This is a BRILLIANT idea for a jam like this. Your brief was simple yet clear and persuasive, it touched on various elements of the game which are very unique in comparison. This is great, mate!
Your feedback is much appreciated - thank you!
As you noted, this game sounds very educational, and I like the idea of focusing on a lesser-known impact, as many overlook lots of the effects of climate change. I think the format of the game would be great for younger ages, and smoothly introduce them to one of the biggest problems our planet faces. I also think focusing on the effect on an animal is smart, as many people feel emotional when seeing animals facing struggles, so this could use emotion to draw the player towards taking action.
Thank you so much for the feedback!
