How does your concept engage in the jam's themes?
We are using the theme of "Change the story" in a literal way by chronicling a time travel story. Because of the humans that have traveled back in time to acquire more fossil fuels, the dinosaur you play as now has an opportunity to literally change the story of the world and defeat these time traveling humans and change the course of history.

Use of Theme / Inspiration
For this idea we found the theme of "change the story" the most compelling, which is why the narrative is a time travel story that will allow the player to change the story of the entire world. However, to reinforce the climate concepts we have also introduced the mechanic of "climate destruction" accidentally caused by the player depending on what weapons or attacks they choose to use. Therefore, the player must choose wisely how they will defeat the enemies to not only change the world and save the climate, but ensure that they do not accidentally accelerate its destruction as well.

I think your concept is really fun and engaging. I'm looking forward to see how you balance combat around the environment in particular. I also agree with the other comments that a bit more information on the specifics would be good.

Your game sounds interesting to me. I would recommend coming up with a one-sheet so we can get a production road map. Also a small GDD would be good so people understand more of the mechanics and aesthetics. Other than that, I think it fits the theme great and is definitely well scoped out size wise for this!

Definitely a unique way of handling the theme. I was a little confused as to how it fit at first, but reading your response to Use of Theme/Inspiration made significantly more sense. I would have liked to see more of your overall plan as you didn't submit very much information.
