Loved the atmostphere! Very scary, had to turn down the volume a bit because my heart couldn't take it! After a few quick tries where I was figuring out the game and died, I think I accidentally won the game XD I waited for the first monster to go by and then just ran, when I got to the intersection I was planning on going up, but luckily the monster came down at that exact moment, so I simply went down instead and found the egg! I obviously played again to see the rest of the map if there is anthg important, I quickly realized that was a mistake haha great game!

Great horror concept!!!! I liked the music and sound effects!!! Camera angle was interesting and well!!! I didn't get very far so it seems like I never got to an egg (from the comments below) but I really liked the play on the theme!!! Good job guys!!!

Very scary, but the giant egg at the end comforted me.

Too spooky too spooky. The atmosphere of the game was really great!

You… you scared me… Nice atmosphere!

I was really engaged in the general atmosphere! Got so scared whenever the enemy spotted me, and I freezed at that particular clustered spot, but then I found the egg 😂I'm still trying to figure out if the PC crying out in pain is random or tied to some particular mechanism?

Was really amazed by the art! But dying is truly pain - ALT-F4 is your best friend! Good stuff :)!

Love the vibe, very spooky. Unfortunate about the R not working. It was a bit unclear what the consoles were for. So hard to escape those damn monsters!! haha Awesome job :)

Developer

Glad you liked it!

Thank you for the feedback :D

I too couldn't restart by pressing R, and I wasn't sure what the terminals were doing. But, I did find the (huge) egg! Nice dark atmosphere and ambiance. Spooky.

The main idea was that you are loosing bits of health if you are standing still, but monsters get you :) And terminals heal you. We just wanted to respect the "would be great features" list of CoCo Jam like "no UI" soooo it's really hard to tell without a health bar :)

Thank you for trying out the game :D

Love the music. Took me a while to get how not to die (it's really punishing, plus not being able to restart the game was a downer -- Press R to restart doesnt work :/), but clever use of all the information you give the player. Would have loved to see more levels.

Developer

Yeah it's a really punishing game, and considering that "R" is not working is a real downer. We just panicked about building it... and when it was done we have realized that it's just insanity. Since... you'll die a lot before you figure it out :'D

Thank you for giving feedback :)

PS: The first idea was to make it a procedural-generated map. That failed hard and it was too ambitious for a 48h game jam :'D So we scrapped that and decided that we need one map at least... ASAP
