I knew about it but I didn't have enough time to fix it so let's just call it a Bethesda bug. Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

Glad you enjoyed :)

Very cool idea. Loved the writing! Also it's impressive how much you were able to do UI-wise in this amount of time (Also thank you very much for the linux build)

Thanks! :D

Thank you :)

Thanks :)

I knew Clippy was evil! I knew it! Very polished, loved the art and especially how the eyes follow your direction, nice touch.

Haha, I'm scared

I'm a third year Computer Games Student at Concordia. I'm joining this game jam to motivate myself to start and finish a project. I want to try to make something in 3D using Unity, and finish it. That's it. That's my objective.

Thanks, I'm happy you found something you liked in it :) the baddies can be pretty mean

Thank you so much :) !

Wow, thanks :)

Thank you for your feedback! I'm glad you liked the game :)

Thank you :)

Interesting feedback, I see why you would think that! I totally missed how similar the pc is to enemies, thanks!

Hehe, thanks!

Glad you enjoyed it! :)

Godot is love. Godot is life.

Thank you, I had a lot of fun recording mouth noises xd

Thank you ^^, the inspiration is clearly there haha

Thanks, pixel art is so fast and fun to create!

i love eggs

Thank you, I really aimed to fit the theme + fun modifiers 100%, that was my only design goal haha.

Happy to hear!

Requires a controller :/

The death screen made me chuckle!

Art is very cute / twisted, great contrast. The rolling camera shake made me nauseous (imo translation shake is better in 2d). Maybe having the map be visually blocked off would make it easier to tell where not to go.

Crazy good atmosphere. Love the idea. Nice, tense music. Mouse sensitivity is way too high for some reason :/. Terminal where you have to spam the three rows is really hard to complete, and doesn't really communicate if you're doing something right or not (if I hadn't watched people stream their struggle on discord yesterday, I would never have completed it). The other two feel great!

Lovely art.

You made an online game in a game jam, you madman.

Love the music. Took me a while to get how not to die (it's really punishing, plus not being able to restart the game was a downer -- Press R to restart doesnt work :/), but clever use of all the information you give the player. Would have loved to see more levels.

Translation: this could be an actual game, i would play this on my phone.

Oogabooga

Love the idea of buying perks with hp. Risk vs reward is cool :) However, the shooting mechanic seems broken -- or maybe there's a cooldown, but it's impossible to tell why my attacks dont fire.

Damn, that's haaaaard

Very nice! I still experiment the reset issue sometimes.

If you walk 18 frames right, you'll stand on the edge but won't be able to jump :/. Also, it's almost impossible to tell if commands were executed or not, and the behavior for when a command doesn't work is unclear: does it skip a frame and do nothing, or does it go down the list of commands?. Having a frame by frame play option would be nice to see them in action. Moreover, the little monster doesn't reset when you press play, so it makes the whole level even more unpredictable.

Edit: input => command

DAMN, feels great to play. Love the Sonic-like intro screen when you revive. Looks amazing. Just enough of juiciness, in a demo like that, it's frankly impressive. I'm looking forward to when this releases!

I second that, the Rocks' hitbox are wayyyyy larger than the shadows, and I found myself to die to the rocks constantly while not even being inside their shadow, which is really misleading.
