How does the game fit into the theme?
You're supposed to skip the first spring in the 3rd area and go straight to the second one!!!!!!!!!!! anyways-

the games about always moving and you can't stand still for a moment to sniff the flowers as you are being constantly chased across all the levels, no matter what you have to keep moving!

What premade assets did you use if any?
the music and tilesets, and player sprite was premade ( made them myself) while everything else surrounding it was made specifically for this jam! this is a side project from a much bigger project so some assets from it are reused, but the game itself at its core is new and falls in line with it being made within game jam time

What are the Discord usernames of everyone on your team?
M3tabble and Beetledope

Did you use MiniScript for your entry?

No

Did you use Playroom for your entry?

No

Pretty cool! I think e would've been a better interact button cause I kept forgetting to click z 😭

Loved the art-style.  Kept forgetting to press z at the door but moving fast felt great!

It would be nice to be able to play with keyboard too, lacked a bit of playtesting in my opinion, after a couple tries  i died and the game didn't restart. Nice concept regardless.

Developer (1 edit)

you can play with the keyboard lol, and if you died but the room didn't restart then you could've pressed r to restart manually as I did think of a scenario where that would probably happen. though wdym by lack of playtesting? there are two sections that are like intentionally difficult and dying is apart of the strategy in some areas

I didn't know you could use keyboard, great on that then, its good that i can restart manually (didn't realize you could do that) but i was just trying to share a bug i found to try and help you, don't need to get mean about it. I didn't say it was a bad game or anything just wanted to share some constructive criticism. Will give it another try, with this new information!

Hi, fun game just very difficult. Also would be nice if you would not need to press a button to finish a level, liked the music
