I second the praise for the great balance you managed of painting the compelling image of a world and forces at play without going into too much detail and allowing the space for DM/GMs and the players to make it or incorporate it into their own. The fact that there are multiple portals and obols means this spark doesn't have to stop with just one incident, it can be reused over and over with tweaks to suit the game or table.

This is really clever! I really like how this paints a picture of a world without specifically diving into the world itself. It just creates these mysterious obols, the discs that seal them, and two opposing forces that revolve around them, then lets the players (and GM) roam free in all of it. It's really fascinating, and I love how the party can side with the Cabal, the cult, or even just be neutral and decide to steal one for their own gain or require entrance to an obol for their own purpose, which could upset either or both parties.

Awesome Adventure Spark. I've got three minor comments as feedback. How can I get them to you? Feel free to email me over at yokubosan@gmail.com - Cheers!

Thanks for the feedback!

I enjoyed coming up with an unexpected type of coin (the giant, cyclops-sized discs) that also reflected the multi-use of an actual CoinSide. I liked your suggestion of granting a reward to the PCs and plan to update the adventure to include that.
