As someone who plays a lot of horror games, I'm pretty hard to frighten. Your game scared the pants off of me, and you didn't even jump scare! I want to acknowledge a simple thing you did that was genius. Earlier on you're headed up a cave and get pulled back down suddenly. I chalked this up to a glitch. When I figured out that it was the thing pulling my legs, I fucking flipped man. What great foreshadowing. In honesty, I thought it was just a glitch or my own user error at first.
I couldn't do it... I couldn't do it. I had to Alt+F4. I'll try again in the daytime. 🙈
Ah, you just had to take the most terrifying activity there is and make a horror game out of it, didn't you... cave diving...
Very atmospheric and eerie!
We liked the narrative of the journey, the change, and the return - Palindrome cave is a very suitable name!
Nice entry!
Absolutely adored this one, definitely one of my favourites so far. Perfectly captures the theme of this jam for me.
Amazing game! The visuals, gameplay, sounds, and story were really fun to go through. And the ending perfectly gave that cosmic horror feel. The only things I would ask is the ability to make the player do a full 360 under the water but that's just a nitpick. This game was great and I'm happy I played it. Have a great day and God bless!
The water caustics and other visual effects are fantastic. The pacing of the game felt pretty slow at times and there wasn't much to see or interact with. But when there was something to see it was magnificent. The atmosphere suits the game perfectly and the story setup was short and sweet. Awesome job on this one!
Loved this game! Great atmosphere and sound work
Thanks for playing! I’m glad you enjoyed
