The game loop is commendable. The atmosphere of tension is conveyed really well, but I wish the creature had a greater presence in the game. It could have continuously followed us, making us deal with both our oxygen levels and the creature simultaneously. This would have made the tension even more effective.

Developer

The creature is actually actively searching the players surroundings, but returns "home" after every dive. Maybe the creature would be more present if it stayed in the same area after the player goes to surface. Thank you so much for playing and from the feedback!

Great game, I got all 5 amulets :D I enjoyed getting familiar with the map and dancing around... the thing. The upgrade system and the game loop of collecting loot was surprisingly effective, I found myself addicted quite quickly. Looks cool too.

Congrats! Thank you for the kind words. It's important to have a solid game loop in a game. I'm happy you enjoyed the game!

Nice! Exploring submerged houses is a really great concept for a game. Pretty good production value here too.

Appreciated! We worked really hard on this one so I'm glad it shows. Thanks for playing.

I played while watching a soccer game yesterday and thought the exact same thing: "When was the last time we explored underwater houses?" I remembered of Dave the Diver and Tomb Raider, though those games don’t exactly focus on that. This really is something unique; considering the maneuverability needed to grab collectibles without triggering the "presence," the way the water flows, and how sound respects the silence—it’s very clever. This was my first 5/5 game here, and I found it to be a very complete experience.
