This jam is not the place for you to spam submit games not created for the game jam. If you are attempting to promote your game in some way then there is far better ways of doing it. I am kindly asking that any games not created for this jam not be submitted to the jam's submission feed, any spam submissions will be removed. I should also remind everyone that this jam is specifically for cosmic horror games, not just horror, there is plenty of more broad horror jams available this October. Check them out!

This issue is one of the most annoying things to deal with when hosting a jam. I've bugged itch staff multiple times to add a filter that catches promotion spam. It should be simple enough to add something that checks if a game is being submitted to multiple jams, or even give jam hosts an option to only allow games that are submitted to no other jams. I can't help but feel that itch doesn't care about their own platform anymore.

Hey dungeon I've put a quick and nice promo for my game! If you'd like me to change it's presentation or remove it, I gladly will but it'd be great if people can find it within this community. If you skim through the game's description you'd see why something like this one is great content within this genre. And please give it a go yourself if you'd like!
