Lots of Doom nostalgia, I kept expecting roars in the distance and nasty hordes coming to get me! Nicely done. It took a few attempts, but I just couldn't seem to get past getting the red key, there's a door off the main courtyard, but it isn't colour-coded and won't open.

The keys can be tricky to find, but they unlock the switch chambers. If you activate all three switches the white door will open.

Fun game! Kind of reminded me of Hexen, which I liked. The pumpkins felt kind of annoying to hit, but weren’t too bad once I got a better feel for the scythe’s attack. I also couldn’t get the secondary attack to work consistently, but I might just be missing something. Either way, I think it’s pretty good overall.

Also, killed myself once with a kicked skull. Definitely not a problem, I just thought it was funny.

The secondary scythe attack actually requires you to perform three regular attacks first. We should maybe add some indicator to make that more clear 🙂

Ohhh, that makes sense. Is it possible to change the weapon sprites? I think it’d look pretty cool to have some kind of “charged” version of it when the secondary is able to be used.

That was exactly my thought. Maybe some lightning effect like the one on the wand :)

Love the boomer-fps style and the gameplay is very swift and responsive. At times it was a bit hard to figure out what is killing me, but that is probably just me being old!

Maybe it was the scarecrows? Their attacks are a bit easy to miss (they shoot from a distance). We should make their attacks a bit more visible and add some more feedback when the player takes damage .
