Really nice PS1 retro horror vibes from this one! The graphics and lighting works really well!

I think you got the controls mixed up in the description. For me "X" was interact and "Z" was light match. Other than that I think the controls work great for this kind of game.

I seem to be able to go out of bounds from one of the corners of the large room with the sofa and armchair. Is there supposed to be another room there?

The sound design was nice and minimalistic, but I wish the music would loop instead of going silent after a while.

I am honestly not sure what to do with the pieces I collect. I just walk around picking up stuff. I found a spider but it doesn't seem to do anything yet. I guess the full game loop has not been implemented yet? Looking forward to try the game again if you plan to keep working on it!

I think you have something here that could become really cool.

I’ll get that description fixed. Sounds like I’ll also need to check the collision shapes for the house and fix the music’s audio settings. Thanks for letting me know!

But yeah, I wasn’t able to get everything implemented in time. The items and monsters don’t really do much of anything at the moment, but I’m working on getting that all working for an update some time after the jam’s over.

I really like the concept with the kind-of-static camera, and once You get used to the controls it is really nice. Would be awesome to see this finished!

Yeah, the tank controls always feel a little weird at first. I definitely plan on finishing this after I can get the rest of the monster and house models done.

A nice start. Is it possible to beat the game? I grab the urn piece, but the front door still says I need the urn, unless there are more pieces. I unlocked the one door, but it doesn't seem to be interactable beyond unlocking it.

Thanks for playing! But unfortunately no, you can’t beat it yet. I was trying to keep the gameplay fairly similar to the original game, where you need to collect the 3 pieces of the urn before leaving. I plan on adding some more rooms and floors to the house. As of right now, the doors aren’t set up to go anywhere until I get those ready.

Ha ha! Love the spooky camera angles, great effect.

Thanks! I was really happy with how the camera turned out, actually.
