I’m disappointed that more people weren’t able to play this, it’s a nice game. I like the scene a lot, the pumpkin ritual altars and statue look great, and I like the falling leaf effects and the mechanic of building up the ritual pieces. I was able to figure it out on my second attempt and complete the ritual.

I have to say, the controls were rough. I had to force myself to power through the camera and movement issues to make it to the end, and my guess is that most people would not give it the time necessary to do that, since it’s a bit frustrating to navigate the world. I’m happy to give more detailed feedback if that’s helpful (just let me know), but it sounds like you’re already aware of the problem.

I hope that’s not too harsh, I only put so much emphasis on it because your game shines in so many ways outside of those issues, but the issues will distract players from the great parts. I hope you keep working on this, this could be a very fun small game to get into the Halloween mood if you wanted to do a post-jam version of it. Really impressive what you have already.

Hey, thanks a lot for your feedback, i Know what you mean, the camera movement is not so good, maybe is better with a character and 3rd person camera, your words raise me up to keep going, im glad you liked,  really apreciate your comments

Wow, seeing Blender Game Engine was definitely a blast from the past! I liked the concept a lot. Gather supplies, set up a ritual, put the spirits at ease. However, the game seemed to actively work against me in a lot of ways, making it very difficult to play. The camera often didn't listen to my mouse movement (which is crucial in a first person game), and it was quite difficult to pick things up (a larger collider would probably be a good idea). I was also able to place things even though I had 0 of them, in that case the item would just start counting negatively (-1, -2, etc.) The game had great fall vibes though, and the final ritual zone looked awesome. I'm wondering what this game might have looked like in another engine and whether it would have been a smoother experience. Anyway, good job on making a game and thanks for participating!

Thanks a lot for your comments, yes that camera don't work well, i think was the sensibility of the mouse, i understand that the camera doesn´t help to expirience the game well,  im glad you liked to, thanks for the nice feedback and for the jam, i will back lol

I've never played in a game made in UPBGE, that was interesting! Fun concept but the controls and camera was a bit too stiff. I've managed to make the ritual, but I had -10 candles :-D Trading leaves for candles is a nice starting point. Nice one!
