I definitely like the vibe of this game.

I don't know how you managed to do it but as the perspective seems a bit odd it gives a mysterious feel to the house. The effects with the light are very cool, and the infinite corridor trick was nice! I wonder how you did it (teleporting back the player?) ?

Also the narration is cool (and the ending lovely) ! :D

Programmer here. Thanks! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! The corridor trick was in fact moving the player back! It also moves the whole hallway back too and adds a new piece to the end. Lmk if you have any other questions :)

Nice! I really like the 3d models and gameplay. I only felt that the scale of things was a little off, objects seem farther then they need to be and there is a lot of empty space. However, i felt like the atmosphere was on point, congratulations

I'm glad you liked the atmosphere! We're hoping to work on this after the gamejam and edit some things. We unfortunately didn't have too much time to test everything :(

It’s funny, I went beyond the walls, in principle it’s a good game, I just didn’t understand if there was an ending to the game after I took a photo of the ghost, and I REALLY didn’t like that the dialogues can start again and you can’t skip them

Even when I pressed “C”, what did I see at that moment, like a camera?

Thank you for your feedback :)

Given the time constraints we unfortunately had a few bugs (particularly with the dialogue re-starting).

*SPOILERS FOR OTHERS READING*

The clues you collect show you memories about her life that she got to re-live through you. And, taking the photo of the ghost personifies her, transforming her from a fearful entity into a relatable human character. Reminds her who she used to be before she became a bitter ghost. I hope that this makes it a bit more clear :)

The plot itself is clear, I mean, is there something like credits in the game? Or is the ending open

Really nice, short game. I liked the writing a lot and the eerie vibe, and also the design of the different rooms (especially the subtle The Shining reference). The surprise moment at the end was very well executed, it got me good. My only feedback would be that the rooms felt a little large, and that I wish more would have been done with the photo mechanic (but I know it’s hard to have a lot of those moments in a short amount of time).

Question with a spoiler: With the infinite hallway, the only way I managed to get through it was by noticing that collision had been disabled for one of the walls, so I skipped the infinite trigger by going outside the wall and past it, was that the intended solution?

Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, we had more planned out with the camera mechanic but it was a risk with the timeframe.

The solution to the infinite hallway was to find the 4 clues hidden in the game. They are in the library, entry way, and the two rooms connected via two corridors on the right of both the library and on the right of the entrance.

I love the look of the game, you managed to pull off both a simplistic look that still looks pretty detailed. It made walking up to the house a lot of fun. I liked the overall story too, although I wish the dialogue would have scrolled a bit quicker. I somehow got hit with the cat dialogue twice, once when entering that part of the room from the right and then again when I left out the other side. Other than that, the ability to take pictures was pretty fun to mess around with.

Thank you for playing and for your feedback :) I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Will definitely fix some of the bugs after the gamejam is over. Wish we had a bit more time to test hehe
