Hey, I played your game on the stream - twitch gordienkogames

Please give my game a try if you have some time!

Very impressive and ambitious game, especially given the time constraints. Love the atmosphere of the visuals and the moody/chill music too. As some others have said, I think it's a little tooo difficult at the moment (maybe slower white out, or respawning at your last campfire), but I love the potential!

Great concept of the cold talking over, staying by the fires will keep you safe but that cold does come on quicker that you can find fires hah. Great job!

Developer

Everythink is reachable! Maybe itts a tad too hard. thanks

Nice game, I couldn't finish it tho, I had to restart it so many times. Maybe the frostbite effect could be slower. A portable map you could check with "M" would be a nice addition also, I've felt so lost every try, but I guess it's the point of the game.

Good work!

Thank you!

I think "freezing in the cold" could have been communicated in a different way besides having the screen grow white. In a game where we have to search carefully for books in hidden locations, the white makes simple navigation much more difficult. Otherwise this is very well thought out and complete for three days.

Thank you!

I really love the sense of atmosphere and mystery, and the really cool instant worldbuilding that the map gives you. The art is really nice too. I like the idea of having to make your way through disorienting fog, but I do think the way that this was implemented was a bit punishing. Sometimes I would die multiple times without finding anything new. Really great beyond that. I think I got about halfway through, so I’m hoping to come back and make another attempt to find the rest.

Thank you so much! I had never made a game before so I definitely could have done better on the balancing side of things. Im sorry you have to restart the game every time you die, hehehe :3

Very impressive game for such a short period! I love the pixel art. I can't say I exactly understand the mechanic of the lights blaring and the game resetting though. It felt unavoidable and confusing to me.
