I think I reached the same spot as people below, it must be in the second location you access from the main room, there are two ramps in a row and you can ascend the second one.

Combat is a bit unexciting (just speed up the cooldowns and it'll be alright, in my opinion) but movement feels right, the dungeon is good and I like your use of the theme, it's to the point but definitely enhances the gameplay of the game.

The game is fun, thanks for sharing, I will play the fixed version in case you provide one.

Hey CryptRat - Thanks for playing - my intention is to release an updated version after the next LD Jam where i'm going to make a game purely around this combat so I can have a system that works better - then bring it back to this game and fix all the bugs - I already have the ramp/stairs problem worked out.

This makes perfect sense, I checked your game from the LD and combat is indeed cool.

Good premise and setup, nice atmosphere, but sadly combat didn't work for me either and I couldn't get past the first enemy :(

The map layout is quite amazing, although the swapping the worlds does not really play a whole lot, just opens/closes some passages. The stairs sometimes dragged me down through the floor. The combat is a little bit of a stare-fest. Your stamina goes up way too slow.

Hey KillerzScrubbie - Thanks for playing.  Because you get stuck on the ramp you never get to all the puzzles i designed with the mechanic /cry I'm hoping to upload a fixed version later where the whole thing is playable.  Combat was the thing I have the most inexperience with so this is something i'm looking to prototype again in the upcoming LD Jam.

I quite enjoyed this aside from the bugs.
Web version combat didn't work for me at all. I would swing, mummy guy would swing, it was a whole party, but nobody ever made contact.
I then tried the download. combat with the first guy worked (I assume as it was supposed to) the second guy I came up to I think died, but then I reentered combat with him being gone and was stuck.

Would have liked to play more and get to the teleportation part but...

I also had the ramp issue. And the first enemy in wing 1 also was problematic like the others said. I have no idea how to beat him because everything misses, not just my attacks but also his attacks. Had to reload the game, then tried again, and then I could move through him as if he didnt exist lol. Got the compass and then I walked through him again. Then once I bumped into him again, the fight started. Only my first strike onto him actually connected, after that it was all misses again :(

This was with the webGL version.

I like the aesthetics, though!

I had fun exploring until I couldn't walk up a ramp. There is a lot to like here and if this was worked on a little bit more then it could be a nice little game :)

I wish you let us left handed players use arrow keys or numpad to control the game.

You nailed the movement and the perspective view!

Developer

Hey @zooperdan - Thanks for the review!.  Ya I have no clue why in the build of the game you cannot walk up the ramps but in the editor you can. #Unity

You actually can use the arrow keys I just failed to mention that in the instructions /facepalm
Thanks for playing

There are a lot of good ideas here, this is a great basis for something awesome. I also met the unresponsive enemy and had trouble with orientation in the hallways, but besides that, great job!

Combat feels pretty tedious. I got stuck trying to hit a guy who didn't do any damage to me. The dungeons feel pretty nondescript, you probably want to add some clutter/decals to help wayfind.
