GG! Sometimes I feel extra smart, when I can finish a level in 2-3 moves (probably not in the intended way, but still!)

I suggest to show the final beam, so you can see how you win. And also you could use curved arrows to show the rotation of the mirrors and small A D letter near the main one. (=

Developer(+1)

Hi ronletdale, thanks so much for playing! And don't worry, there isn't a right/wrong way to solve the puzzles!

Your suggestions are great! In fact, I've went ahead to add in your idea on the final beam's persistence! Will work with my artist on the curved arrow marker if possible! :D

i dont understand how play

Developer(+1)

Hi Rod, thanks for attempting and sorry to hear that you didn't understand how to play.

Will you be able to let u know which part is unclear from the tutorial notes in Level 1?
Basically, the goal is to

1.  Direct the moonbeam to hit the purple orb!

2. You do this by: (i) Control the main mirror (using A/D) keys, and (ii) rotating the smaller mirrors (using the buttons on the ends of them)

Let me know if it's still unclear, and how else I can help!

I've been playing Minecraft since childhood. Accordingly, I adore pixel graphics (M.U.G.E.N lover yeah)

To be honest, my single-digit IQ did not allow me to enjoy the beginning, but my determination allowed me to enjoy the end of the game.

The music is cool, scary a bit though...I’m alone in the house, but with this music a strange feeling appears, and I begin to hear footsteps...

Super cool for 36 hours. If it were like a mobile app with a lot of levels...I would get stuck every day, I swear.

(ADD BEAM ANIMATION WHEM YOU PASS  LEVELS. I WAS SCARED EVERY TIME HE DISAPPEARED LIKE MY FATHER 17 YEARS AGO)

Hi Nagao thanks for playing (and for leaving a funny review :D)Thanks for sticking through with the game despite it not being your usual genre!

I agree with you that our musician (@ashe) knocked it out of the park with the ethereal music, which matched our artist's (@Lishai228) art style!

I liked your idea so much on the beam animation that I went ahead to add it in! But will upload the updated version after the jam.

So addicting! I was able to beat the last level with only one move left haha. Great concept. The music fit the vibe so much too.

Very well done! It is very polished and ambitious, with many levels for such a short time. Some more visual feedback when you win would be nice. Overall, very good job to the team. Coincidentally, my game is mechanically kinda similar to this, which is kind of funny.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing SanSanK!

Agree with the visual feedback! Have incorporated this into an updated version that we will upload after the jam!

I played your game too! And I must say while our games are mechanically similar, yours had more depth in terms of the physics!

Really amazing game, I wouldn't be suprised if this game won. A little bit of feedback: I would really like it if when you beat the level you can see the beam of light that actually did it, because there were some points where I was manuvering things around and I would accidentally solve it and not know how I did it.

Still a magnificent game

Developer

Thank for playing Dystopia!

Your feedback is definitely not "little"! It's also one that was echoed by many others, so we've quickly worked it into an updated version!

Apologies on it being a bit short; we would have liked to come up with more levels if we had more time!
