a nice simulator job kind of thing, love the ambience and the concept of the mechanics, a bit buggy but it isn't that much of a turn off

hi, thanks for taking the time to play, the bugs will get ironed out as soon as we can update the game (once the voting closes in a few hours). on that note, don't forget to rate us for the jam :)

Very original concept, I loved the gameplay and both the music and SFX are great. Also, the sinister agent is not as bad as he looks :) Congratulations!

Developer

thank you <3

Fun idea for a 'work sim' - would be interested in where you could take it next!
Noticed a bug that meant I got the same pay if I did any work or not, maybe there needs to be a percentage of work done to continue?

we fixed a lot of these issues in a new build that'll be up soon, but thank you so much for taking the time to play the game

Very cool idea and the sunflowers themselves! It’s great that the day is changing, I liked the field better during the day. Sunflowers fall beautifully. But while they falling they block the view and it hard to navigate :)
It might be worth cutting out more sunflowers at once to make the gameplay at a faster pace.

Very good looking game, there are a lot of small touches that really makes if feel polished, except for the writing, which felt rushed. I think the light was the thing I was supposed to avoid, which is similar to my game, but when surrounded by sunflowers it was hard to tell where it was, or if anything happened when I was caught in it.

The concept of creating crop circles is awesome. It kinda sucks how long it takes though, and I really thought with the electric cutter I wouldn't have to keep manually clicking. Also, I didn't even notice the helicopter the entire time. There is potential here though if you can find a way to make it more engaging.

Cool idea, and some really nice technical work too! I think the game suffers because it just isn't that engaging to actually cut the sunflowers down. I think with more polish and focus on the feel of interacting with the sunflowers would make this really great.

i like the idea of this a lot! having to hold the right mouse button and then having to click over and over quickly becomes pretty tedious and is hell on the wrist lol. usually if a button that's supposed to be held has no reason to be released, it may as well not be a button. i'm guessing the idea was to make it to where you could be more accurate with your cuts, but A) whatever interprets the final correct percentage isn't accurate anyway and B) there's only one action so the highlight could always be turned on (or could even be a toggleable). i still had fun with it though and i think it'd be great for continued development. especially like talking shop with the alien lol. (also i had the same crash problem as punki)

Love the idea of making crop circles (might be biased though, as one of my bucket list items is to actually go out and make a big ol crop circle for artistic expression and lulz), but I just couldn't get the game to work right.  I made, like, a line of flattened flowers and then I coudn't do anything else.  Not sure if it wsa a bug or if it was just me being silly.  Still, again, love the concept and I hope to see this game grow!

hi, thanks for taking the time to play.

At the end of each level, or when you think you're finished, you still need to go talk to the agent to let him know you're done.

I don't think I was done though, I was clicking to make the crop circle but nothing was happening after the first couple of stomps.  Ah well, I'll go back and try again when I have time.  ^^

I like the agent, he is pretty sketchy looking lol. However I couldn’t answer “No” to the agent for some reason. Cool game

The concept behind this game is so fun. Heads up, I had a crash at the start of the level if I tried to switch tools before speaking to the Agent.

Developer

oh no! will patch that up
