I like the idea of rummaging through the fields with the fear of something out to get you. I do wish the stamina recharged faster and at least when you're in control of the dog. Also idk if it was stated somewhere and I missed it but I think you forgot to take out a dev thing, pressing R restarted my game so I had to do it again XP

i really liked the design and colours, but the stamina recharged too slowly. Anyway, thank you for the game, I liked it!
Like others have said, the stamina recharge is way too slow, and it gets repetitive quickly. However, it was a nice idea and I love the addition of the dog. Goblin is a good boy.
Thank you so much! Yeah it's pretty much the most common bit of feedback and we'd definitely have changed it if it didn't feel disingenuous to alter such a big part of the game after the jam closed ahah
Nice ideas, though I don't think having to wait a full minute for the stamina to recharge add anything to the gameplay or the experience.
This was a fun little idea, but I think a variety of challenges to reach each key would elevate it. Even just a different pattern to avoid.
Yeah definitely, this was the first time either of us had made something in game maker from scratch so honestly we were just happy to get it moving hehe

this was an interesting idea! the stamina recovery is extremely long and it gets worse as the game goes on. i'm not really sure why it's as long as it is, but it could recover as fast as the stress meter outside of tall grass and it would function the same as it does now except you wouldn't have to wait so long between going through each gap. i like the ending and the reveal of the crop being the eye but what you have to do becomes predictable after the second one and so it takes a lot of the wind out of the rest of the game. i really liked how you could scout ahead with the dog and also the dog's dialogue is great. i like the "I SEE YOU" at the end as well, but the little 'made in game maker' window title again takes some of the wind out of it lol. overall though, i do still think this is a cool idea that could be expanded on, so good work on this!
