Really fun, I love the look on the snowmen after you hit them and they start to lose their face
Honestly, the simplest and most fun feature to create, test and work on lol
Like I said on stream, this might not be the *most* polished game, but I absolutely loved the concept and think it doesn't need that much polish to begin with. It's just plain simple fun, and with a little work this could be a really tight experience to get people into the winter spirit! I especially loved the cozy vibe this little winter valley brought me, and the animations of the snow men. I also beat the jingle-hells mode, which I'm EXTREMELY proud of (lol). Good job dude, keep up the good work!
Absolutely enjoyed watching the stream! It was good to see the prototype's design validated, and it would be great to expand upon. Maybe multiplayer support coming soon?
The game was really hard to play for me because mouse movement/aiming felt super awkward. I'm not sure what it is, but it feels over-smoothed or something regardless of what DPI I choose and I just couldn't really get used to it. Also, crouching moves the camera in a way that feels a little disorienting when trying to aim a shot. It has a really nice visual style though and I liked the way you fight the snowmen (take out the face pieces then the head, super cool!), definitely has a nice frantic feeling to it and I like how you have to manage your temperature and balance collecting ammo, moving and regulating your temperature as they all work against eachother. Could use some music and other sounds though.
I was using a premade FPS Controller that I have used for a little while now. A fuller game would have the options to help mitigate issues with aiming. I'm glad you enjoyed the core concept! It totally could have used more music and sounds
