Been trying to play it but for some reason when i click for a new game it launches the oculus software and then completely freezes. I will try it again after i reboot.

Really great job on this game. The combat feels fantastic. The movement in general felt very good, but since it’s such an integral part of the game I will comment on the speed. I know high movement speed is a trait of this sub-genre of shooters, but I did feel a little out of control at times playing this. I think it didn’t feel right because I felt a little floaty. I know that’s a hard balance to strike, because at other points I relied on that air time to give me a moment to line up a grapple.

The grappling, by the way, feels much improved from what I remember in Demise and was hella fun. I especially like the addition of the wall-running and the grinding, which both felt great.

The gameplay really rewards skill. It’s very tough, but after acquiring the skills I needed to beat each section, I found that I could usually beat that section again without much of a problem, which I think is a sign of a good balance between high difficulty and fairness.

A couple points were a little frustrating. Getting into the vent was difficult at times, I think because I expected to be able to quickly tap spacebar for a little hop into the vent, which didn’t seem to work, so that kind of took me out of the flow a little.

The other kind of frustrating part was the fall where you had to dodge the red objects. I thought it was a little long and would have worked better if the objects didn’t slow or stop your fall, but only hurt you instead. That was the only section that I got past and felt like it was more luck than mastery that got me through.

All in all really great title and I’m going to be watching for any updates you make to play the newer versions!

Thank you! I've adjusted the way gravity works for the eventual feature update, double gravity but also double jumping and grappling force. It feels a lot nicer now and less awkward to control at times, and to make up for the lack of hang time as a result of this change, I've got double jumping on the todo list.

I'm also changing the way falling sections work, now that I have to add a third person player model for multiplayer anyways I have a few ideas cooked up  for how to approach that mechanic in a better way. I think it'll be easier to line up the holes if the player can see their body in 3rd person when they're in one of the falling minigames, rather than risking getting swiped on their way through in 1st person, and I'm going to give them basically perfect air control in this adjusted mode.

Thanks for the feedback!

Super fun and interesting game! It totally shows that polished the heck out of it, and that you added a whole lot of content, so good job! The only thing I'd love to have is a sensitivity slider, and a little bit less visual clutter once you take damage, because it's a little hard to see anything once you're low-health. However, I'm extremely impressed with what you've done during this jam, keep 'm coming!

Thank you! I ended up going over the top with damage and will scale it back for later updates. Glad you enjoyed the game!
