Hello! I was one of the streamers who took part in Feedback Quest, and I'm here to leave some comments I had while playing.

To begin, I will say that I do love the art style. It's adorable and works very well for a visual novel.

However, I did notice a lot of errors in the writing; typos or wrong just of words or weird sentences. At times, it made it hard to follow. I will admit that these errors drove me to not play a lot of the game.

I also found it weird that Nora immediately requests the player character to call her Nora, even though "Nora" is not in her name whatsoever (also because giving a nickname like this is not something that normally happens when Japanese people first meet).

That said, I will be watching for updates to this game that hopefully tackle the writing issue so that I can play more of it and give more solid feedback during the next Feedback Quest.

Thank you for your comments. I will work hard to correct any problems you have seen. As for the English language, it is not native English. I am very sorry if there are errors in the English language, I will communicate to my translator the errors. Any feedback on the English translation will serve as experience so thank you very much for your comment :D

Regarding the nickname “Nora” thank you very much for your comment, I will correct it for version 2.0.

I look forward to a future update!

I've downloaded the Mac version of the game, started it, enabled access, but nothing happened. The game just won't do anything. It seems to close before it is even noticeable. I have a recent Mac with Ventura OS.

Hum, that’s strange. can you send me the traceback.txt and log.txt file? While I can’t test on mac, I can try to fix the bug using those files. https://kagarisoft.com/support

Using a virtual machine in the Monterey version I saw that the game does run correctly, if you are running the game in Ventura Beta (13.1) try to update the operating system; I am commenting this because I found a similar problem in the reports of the engine I use and it seems to be an apple problem.

Ok, I'm busy rn, but will try in the next days!

Ok, so I do run it in 13.1. I will update this as soon as I have time. Right now the game doesn't even produce an error message, neither log.txt nor traceback.txt. It's strange because I also use Ren'Py and don't have this problem, but maybe I use a different Ren'Py version?

Btw: why don't you also make the free version of your game available on the web? Or do you have videos? Cause without videos, it's really easy to make it run on the itch web page.

If it does not produce any error it is because the bug is not in the game, but in the operating system itself.

The problem with the web version is because of the size of the files, and because the web version is not 100% stable; if a bug occurs I may not be able to fix it, I can escalate the bug to the engine developer but that may take time to be patched in a future version. Another reason why I don’t use web, is that ROL uses custom python inside the game, and if I were to create a web-only build I would have to modify the whole structure of the game. I suppose that when I publish the 2.0 version I could make a web demo, but now I don’t see it possible because of the way I made the game.

Problem related to what you say: https://github.com/renpy/renpy/issues/4091

I understand. Unfortunately, the bug persists after upgrading my OS, so I can't test the game. That's really a pity, since it looks cute!

I played the game a bit until Nora visits the player's home. The characters seem somewhat interesting, if cliche (maybe that changes later). The art is nice though!

There were numerous grammatical errors that should be fixed before release.

I saved my game, but when I started it up again later to continue, I couldn't figure out how to load my game, and inadvertently saved over my save game :(

I played the demo for a bit. Unfortunately the story didn't really hook me, so I can't really talk about it (I stopped playing when they first go to the cafe).

The English translation is a bit awkward, there are a lot of grammatical mistakes and wrong use of words, and since this is a visual novel the experience suffers because of it 😕 You could probably recruit someone to read through the translation and propose fixes.

As for the visuals, the game is very cute with a nice color color scheme, it's very pleasing.

I've seen the credits, you've assembled quite a team to make this game! It must be fun building it together 🙂 Good luck!

Cant play because i need to pay for it...

There is a free version, according to the rules that is the one that should be downloaded.
