Surely one of the best indie games I tested, I had a great time :). Graphics are great, IU and music are on point. Weapons and upgrade systems are well made. Gameplay is really fun and the pace of it's really good.
At first the granade mechanic as only way to finish enemies and get additional ammo and a bit wobbly camera while moving was weird to me but I got used to it and I am not the typical doom like games player so It's probably because of that.
One thing I felt annoyed by is that I couldn't tell at first which enemies are weak to finish by sword, some indicator would help unless it was abvious and I didn't noticed. The plot also was ok, not bad but nothing special.
I also wonder if you had more weapons will you have some way to reorganize or change shortcuts to them?
Thank you for your feedback!
As for the enemy that can be killed by the sword, an aura actually appears, probably too subtle to be seen. Thanks, I will update the visual of that aura.
I'm sorry, I'm not quite following the question about weapon shortcuts. Could you please clarify? Currently, the weapons are automatically assigned to the 1 - 9 keys. Are you asking if I have any plans to rebind the weapon slots? Or if your dubt is for the controller, by pressing the right stick you can open the weapon wheel.
I meant that if I for example liked weapons by default number 4, 7 and 9 I would want them on 1, 2 and 3 numbers and they would be next to each other when mouse wheel weapon switching too.
Got it!
Hello! Welcome to Feedback Quest 6! My name's Hythrain, and I'm one of the hosts and streamers for this event! This feedback is being written live on my stream.
From the moment I started, it felt like Pirates of the Caribbean. Of course, I don't get why some of those pirates looked like they're from a modern day biker gang, but whatevs. This was a lot of fun.
The only issues I came across were when I had acquired a certain number of materials, the game began to claim I could make a blunderbuss only for this to be wrong. Instead, I found one shortly after. Another issue was just how quickly you could get hit. I'm guessing there aren't any invincibility frames, or if there are they're very short.
Besides this, I think the only thing missing is is a bit of a stronger narrative. Going from pirates to the undead to robots just felt kinda weird without anything to put it all together.
Beyond the above critiques, I had a blast with this!
Hello, and thank you very much for your feedback. Was your livestream recorded? If so, I'd like to watch it. Regarding the tutorial claiming you could make a blunderbuss, I think it referred to an addon for the weapon. However, I understand the confusion since you haven't found the base weapon yet.
Hello! Yes, it was! It should be on this VOD. :)
Fantastic thank you!
I really liked the music in this, also the colors and kinda pirate feel give me a subtle monkey island vibe.
I played this in a very bad small notebook so I got some interesting behaviors ... on the first battle it took a while for the battle to start and the tutorial to show and I continued walking, when the tutorial ended I was very far away from the first enemies.
will try it again later when I am on my better pc
Interesting, thanks for playing. The tutorial should trigger in a fixed amount of time, let me know if it does the same on the gaming PC. Thank you!
