Cool idea, and its executed really well! I did get cthe timer to -5 and strange things started happening, but that just added to the vibes. nice work!

The Visual is Looking Bad but the Game is Solid!

The Idea is cool, you could turn it in a Math Trainer or something, could be a interesting Idea for an Education Game. With some better Graphics and some more "Math Options" to Choose you could turn this into something more.

But Great Job. First Game, Lets go and Continue.

Cute lil game! I could totally see kids in math class playing this. I love the little face on the key!

Very simple, but runs smoothly! Well done on creating a well running game for your first game jam!

If you were to work on this more in the future, here are a couple things I'd suggest:

1) Consider adding difficulty levels, or some kind of content meter that lets you decide how difficult of problems are in the game. Otherwise, because like... basic addition to 3 digit multiplication is a pretty dang huge spike. Adding the difficulty options will make it more user friendly and will make it more accessible for people of all math levels to play, from kindergarten to college!

2) I think you need to decide if you want this to be a mental math game or a pencil and paper math game, and adjust your penalty stats accordingly. At the moment, the time boost from the correct answer is pretty big and the penalty for wrong answers is pretty small. What ended up happening is I'd rack up a ton of time points on the easy problems and then be able to guess wrong on the hard problems without much penalty. If you want to keep it mental math, reduce everything in scale, so that people only have 10 seconds max to solve the problem. If you want to allow pencil and paper calculations, make the penalty for getting the answer wrong much bigger :)

3) I like the star/galaxy theme you've got going on, but between the pixelated numbers and the yellow color, I found it to be a little hard on the eyes. Consider either choosing a darker color, or a more smooth font :)

Hope these help you!

Thank you again for this words, it was neccesary for me.
