  • First off I'll say I played the web version so I played it without sound, unfortunately. Aside from that there were a few things that made this game pretty frustrating to play. My player was constantly getting stuck on walls and doors. I also didn't like that when you picked stuff up it didn't tell you what you were collecting. I thought the game had glitched at one point when it said I had collected something and I didn't see anything new until I realized it had added a couple batteries to my encounter. I also had an annoying bug with stairs where if I walked up them I had to quickly run away at the top because the player spawned to close to them and would immediately start walking back down. Unfortunately I think there's also a glitch with how items interact with things because if you go to the left right at the beginning to the purple key door, it will tell you you need a purple key and then just bring up the win screen. May want to check on that as well
  • There wasnt any real goal, just walking around with a flashlight. It wasnt really scary since there were no music or sound effect. Audio in an horror game is a must. I don't understand the choice of controls, have to right click to go somewhere without any pathfiunding is just frustrating, getting caugh on corners, specially when you need to be very close to interact with things, just simple arrows/wasd movement would be a both simpler to implement and better for the player. The art and the flashlight gives a good vibe.

I escaped the hospital. Nice creepy atmosphere, I had fun! I saw a door locked by a bronze key that I couldn't open, but didn't prevent me from escaping, is that a secret room? Also, I didn't have to use any item since the sanity decreased very slowly.

I had to crank up the brightness of my laptop to the max to be able to see anything though 😁

I liked the game, at first it was a bit difficult to control, but once you get used to it I enjoyed it. Great game.

Thanks for playing

I like the creepyness and the sanity mechanic. The ending is also good "may live more" xD. The missing audio made it a bit less creepier tho (was that just for me?) and there were no enemys, atleast none that I had to avoid. Also it was a bit difficult to get around with the controls but once you get it, it's fun. Nice game.

Thanks for playing. Audio doesnt work on the web build, i dont know why.

Nice work with the atmosphere and the lights, the player seems to have a box collider that makes its movement bug next to walls, a sphere/circle will be better.

overall a good start to build upon, with music and more elements/enemies it has potential.

Best of luck.

Developer

Thanks for playing. And the player have a circle collider.

I worked out the pills are for sanity, but I have no idea about anything else. It looks like the guy is carrying a flashlight, but I have no idea how to activate it. Has all the markings of a creepy game - nice job!

Thanks, i forgot to tell how to use the flashlight(you need to press tab). How did you rate?
